Aaron unboxes T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II, the last of the US-bound trio from Samsung's special event last month. T-Mobile's version is by far the most unique, with a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 CPU, 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, Android 2.3 with Samsung's TouchWiz 4.0 UI, and an 1,850 mAh battery. It lands at retail stores on October 12, and will cost $229.99.
It goes up against the HTC Amaze 4G, HTC's newest Android superphone on T-Mobile and one with a nice metal build quality. Can they exist together? We'll take an initial look and see.
