MT PLEASANT, SC – June 30, 2013 – For 69 weeks, PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) has been the gold standard for ranking the best smartphones on the market by placing votes from readers and experts alike in respective charts each week. Last week saw the HTC One hold its first place spots on both the People’s Choice and Expert’s Choice charts, garnering a total of 628 votes and 50 points. With a red variant landing in select markets soon, HTC’s flagship smartphone continues to perform well globally. Available now at AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, the HTC One will be available at Verizon Wireless soon.
Samsung’s Galaxy S 4 smartphone remained in second place on the People’s Choice chart with 167 votes, while the Apple iPhone 5 moved into second place on the Expert’s Choice chart with 36 points. On the People’s Choice chart, the Samsung Galaxy Note II held the third place spot with 84 votes, while the Google Nexus 4 returned to fourth place with a total of 62 votes. Rounding out the People’s Choice chart, the Nokia Lumia 920 with 59 votes. On the Expert’s Choice Chart, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 dropped to third place with 35 points. Tying for fourth place, the Samsung Galaxy Note II and Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, both receiving 14 points.
