After several leaks have teased the Moto X+1’s name, backplate options and carriers, today an image has surfaced that claims to give us a peek at the device itself.
@evleaks just shared an image that he says shows the Moto X+1 in a case. Since it’s got a protective cover, it’s tough to glean many details of the phone itself from this render. We can see that the device’s rear camera is mounted in the same place as the Moto X. Meanwhile, the front of the X+1 has on-screen buttons and what could be a front-facing speaker similar to the one found on the Moto E.
Details on the Moto X+1 are still fairly light, but its expected that Motorola’s next flagship will have leather back plates available in Moto Maker and that it’ll come to all four major U.S. carriers. Looking at this image, it appears as though Motorola has decided to stick to a near-stock build of Android, which is exciting news since it hopefully means that we’ll continue to see prompt OS updates.
What do you think of this Moto X+1 image? Are you looking forward to the successor to the Moto X?
