The HTC One (M8) may only be a few months old at this point, but that hasn’t stopped the hype machine from kicking into gear with rumors of that device’s successor.
A new report from @evleaks claims that HTC is cooking up new versions of the One Mx family that are known as the “HTC M9” and “HTC M9 Prime.” These handsets are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2015, with the Prime model reportedly coming to market first. @evleaks also says that the oft-rumored HTC M8 Prime “will likely remain deadpooled.”
HTC introduced both the original One (M7) and the new One (M8) in the first quarter of 2013 and 2014, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see the HTC M9 hit sometime in Q1 2015. Details of these new HTC M9 and HTC M9 Prime are a mystery for now, but because the One devices are HTC’s flagship models, I’m sure that Peter Chou and Co. will go all out with those two devices.
Now that the HTC One (M8) has been on shelves for a few months, what tweaks do you think HTC should incorporate into the M9 to make it better?
