HTC’s kept pretty busy lately updating its One family of devices with new features, treating the Developer Edition and unlocked versions of the One (M7) to Sense 6 and giving AT&T’s One (M8) variant an Extreme Power Saving mode. Now it’s time for T-Mobile One users to get in on the fun.
T-Mobile has announced that it’s now rolling out updates to its versions of both the HTC One (M8) and One (M7). Owners of the One (M8) can expect a maintenance update that includes improvements to battery life, audio quality and Wi-Fi performance, as well as the aforementioned Extreme Power Saving mode. This update bumps the T-Mo One (M8) to software version 1.57.531.7.
Meanwhile, owners of the Magenta-flavored HTC One (M7) are now receiving a 695MB update that includes HTC’s new Sense 6 user interface. Once its installed, One (M7) users will be on software version 5.14.531.1.
