Best Buy has held quite a few iPhone sales and trade-in promotions in recent years, and today the big box retailer announced that it’s got another offer that’s kicking off today.
Best Buy announced today that it’s discounting Sprint and Verizon iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s models, cutting the price of those devices in half. That means that the iPhone 5c is priced at $49.95 and the iPhone 5s carries a price tag of $99.99. The price cut will run through May 11.
In addition to these discounts, Best Buy is offering extra trade-in credit for older iPhone models. iPhone 5 models will get $200 in return, iPhone 4s units will net $150 and the iPhone 4 will get you $100.
Combining the two deals together, iPhone 4 owners are able to snag a shiny new iPhone 5c or iPhone 5s for Sprint or Verizon for nothing. That’s a pretty sweet deal, especially considering how big of an upgrade the 5s is over the 4. Obviously it’s kind of a bummer that only 2 of the big 4 U.S. carriers are a part of this offer, but if you live the CDMA life and are looking to trade-in your aging iPhone for a newer model, it may be worth your trouble to head to your local Best Buy store.
