ZTE has shown that it's not scared of the phablet form factor, having introducing the 5.7-inch Grand Memo and 6-inch Grand Memo II LTE in recent years. Apparently a 6-inch display just isn't big enough for the Chinese device maker, though, because it recently introduced a new Android smartphone with one of the biggest smartphone displays that we've ever seen.

ZTE has officially announced the Nubia X6, a phone/tablet hybrid device that features a 6.44-inch 1080p screen. That matches the screen size of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and is one of the biggest screens we've seen on a device that's classified as a smartphone.

While the Nubia X6's screen is sure to be one of the first things that people notice about it, the phone actually has quite a few other notable features. The X6 is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM, includes up to 128GB of storage and has a beefy 4250mAh battery powering its whole package.

Also included is a pair of 13-megapixel cameras. Yeah, that's right, the X6 has 13-megapixel cameras on both its back and its front. Both shooters also include an f/2.0 lens, optical image stabilization and flashes, all of which means that users will have a pretty respectable camera setup whether they're shooting photos of others or just snapping some selfies.

The ZTE Nubia X6 is now available in pre-order in China at a price of $HK 5,010, which works out to around $646 USD. That's not a bad price considering all of the high-end features that ZTE has managed to cram into its newest Nubia. Unfortunately for anyone that doesn't call China home, there's no word on when or if the Nubia X6 will ever make the trek outside of its home country. ZTE has recently shown that it's becoming more willing to bring its unlocked devices to the U.S., though, launching both the Grand S and Nubia Z5 here last year, so there may still be a little hope for those of you in the hunt for the ultimate selfie machine.
