Following last year's debuts of the original LG G Pad 8.3 and the Google Play edition G Pad 8.3, Verizon today introduced a third version of the 8-inch LG tablet. The LG G Pad 8.3 LTE is officially set to launch at Verizon this Thursday, March 6, with pricing set at $299.99. The big red carrier will also be offering the G Pad 8.3 LTE with a two-year contract and $99.99 price tag from March 6 through March 10. After that date, the two-year commitment pricing for the device will go up to $199.99.

Besides its Verizon LTE connectivity, this new model of the G Pad 8.3 is pretty similar to the device that LG introduced last August. It's rocking an 8.3-inch 1920x1080 display, quad-core processor and custom LG software, like a Q Pair app that syncs the G Pad 8.3 with an Android 4.1 or higher smartphone and enables the tablet to receive the phone's calls and texts. Overall the G Pad 8.3 is a nice option for consumers in the hunt for a smaller Android tablet, and Verizon's $300 asking price seems pretty reasonable for an LTE-enabled slate with a high-res display.
