After gradually revealing more and more of itself in several leaks earlier this month, tonight the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has decided to officially introduce itself to us. Appearing on Samsung's Polish website, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo looks pretty much like the aforementioned leaks led us to believe it would, which is pretty much just a smaller Galaxy Note 3.

The similarities between the Galaxy Note 3 Neo and Galaxy Note 3 extend to the new phone's software. The Note 3 Neo runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean beneath Samsung's custom TouchWiz UI, and it includes many of the same Samsung-made apps that came loaded onto the Note 3 last year, including Air Command and updated versions of S Now and Multi-Window. The Neo also includes My Magazine, which gathers news from various sources as well as a user's personal messages and content and displays it all in a Flipboard-esque magazine format.

While the Note 3 Neo and Note 3 may share a design and software pack, the two differ quite a bit on the inside. The 3G-only version of the Note 3 Neo features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor while the LTE+ model packs a hexa-core processor with 1.7GHz dual-core and 1.3GHz quad-core chips, whereas the regular Note 3 models pack a 1.9GHz octa-core processor and 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, respectively. Also included with the Note 3 Neo is 2GB of RAM, down from the 3 gigs found on the Note 3, and a slightly smaller 3100mAh battery.

On the face of Samsung's new Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a 5.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED screen and 2-megapixel camera, while the back of the unit houses an 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash. Rounding out the new device's spec list is 16GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi.

The Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be offered in the same black and white hues as its Note 3 sibling as well as a new set of green duds. Samsung says that the Note 3 Neo will begin rolling out globally next month, but unfortunately for fans of slightly smaller versions of large phablet hardware that also happen to be based in the U.K. or U.S., Samsung recently revealed that it doesn't plan on launching the Neo in either of those countries.
