Get ready, folks, because the Moto X is nearly here. Motorola just sent out an invitation for an event that'll be taking place in New York City on August 1, and the company isn't hiding what the topic of conversation will be. Not only are the words "moto x" are smack dab in middle of the invitation received by Droid-Life, but two of the people in the photo are holding black and white Moto X units.
Motorola hasn't said much about the Moto X itself, save for the fact that it'll be a "hero" device that buyers can design themselves. We have gotten several early peeks at the device since it was first confirmed back in May, though, both in image and video leaks and in photos of Google chairman Eric Schmidt. Now it looks like we're less than two weeks away from finally getting our formal introduction and learning exactly what makes the Moto X tick. Based on the information that's leaked out so far, are you considering picking up a Moto X of your own?
