Grab your calendars, folks. T-Mobile just sent out invitations for an event that's taking place in New York on March 26, which is just one week from tomorrow. While the magenta carrier doesn't come out and say exactly what it's got planned for the shindig, the image sent to AllThingsD include a teaser that reads "We're still a wireless company. We're just not going to act like one anymore."

We'll have to wait until March 26 rolls around to find out what T-Mobile is planning to announce at this event, but considering the teaser that was included with the invitation, it seems likely that Magenta will use the gathering to make its full-on Value plan switch official. T-Mobile announced last year that it planned to cease offering the subsidies that U.S. wireless consumers are accustomed to and instead sell only its Value plans, which allow a customer to pay for a device in full upfront or make a down payment on the product and then pay it off in monthly installments. Once the device is paid for, the subscriber will have a lower monthly bill than he or she did previously.

T-Mobile revealed earlier today that it plans to officially flip the switch on its 4G LTE network before the end of March, and we also know that the carrier will be releasing the LTE-enabled BlackBerry Z10 to consumers before the calendar flips over to April. Now it looks like T-Mo's Value switch will be taking place during March as well, meaning that the final weeks of this month are going to be pretty crazy for T-Mobile and its customers.
