There have been quite a few new smartphones and tablets announced in the past couple of days because of Mobile World Congress, but today AT&T has broken things up a bit by announcing some freshly-activated 4G LTE service. AT&T today announced that its LTE network is now live in a few new markets and that it's expanded in a few locales as well. The big blue operator also announced some other new and expanded LTE service last week that got a bit overlooked due to the introduction of the HTC One. Looks like a nice mixture of cities from different parts of the U.S. AT&T's 4G LTE coverage surpassed the 100 market mark late last year, and the carrier expects that its LTE network will expand to cover 250 million people by the end of 2013 and 300 million people by the end of 2014.
