It feels like it's been a while since we've heard any tablet news from Toshiba, but today the company has changed that by taking the wraps off of a new 10-inch Android slate. Dubbed the Excite 10 SE, the device features a 10.1-inch Autobrite HD display and a camera on its face as well as a 3-megapixel shooter on its backside. Also included with the Excite 10 SE is a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 16GB storage, microSD card slot, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a "textured Fusion Lattice finish" that Toshiba claims will make the slate easier to hold and carry.
If all of that sounds like it'd make for a good holiday purchase for yourself or a friend that needs a new tablet in their life, the Excite 10 SE will be available both from Toshiba and select retails starting on December 6 for $349.99. That's around $100 less than the price that the 16GB Toshiba Excite 10 launched at earlier this year, and while it's up to you to decide whether or not that price is worth opening your wallet for, the good news is that potential buyers only have to wait until Thursday for their chance to buy. Anyone thinking about pulling the trigger?
