A couple of months after hitting Boost Mobile's shelves, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G will soon be arriving at another one of Sprint's prepaid brands. Virgin Mobile has announced that it'll offer the Galaxy S II 4G starting November 15 at a price of $369.99. The Galaxy S II 4G will be compatible with Virgin's Beyond Talk plans that include unlimited data and messaging and start at $35 per month.
The Galaxy S II 4G on Virgin Mobile will be similar to the model that was available on Boost and Sprint before it, meaning you can expect a 4.52-inch display, 8-megapixel camera, 3G/4G (WiMAX) connectivity and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Virgin will offer the device in both Titanium and White. The Galaxy S II may no longer be the freshest phone on the Galaxy block, but with 4G connectivity and a big display, it'll be one of the higher-end handsets in Virgin's lineup and may be worth checking out for anyone on the prepaid operator that's in the hunt for a new Android device.
