Oops. Neither LG nor Verizon has officially announced the Spectrum 2 quite yet, but that apparently hasn't stopped Best Buy from throwing the device up on its website, complete with a set of images and a spec list. The Spectrum 2 in these shots looks similar to the renders that leaked out back in July, complete with a set of four capacitive navigation keys at the bottom of its face. The model number listed for the Spectrum 2 is LG-VS930, which lines up with what we've heard before, and Best Buy's unactivated (no contract) pricing is set at $649.99.
When it comes to specs, Best Buy says that the LG Spectrum 2 touts a 4.7-inch 1280x720 True HD touchscreen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, a microSD card slot, 4G LTE and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Previous reports have also pegged the Spectrum 2 as including 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and NFC. A lot of those specs are similar to the original Spectrum that debuted earlier this year, though the Spectrum 2's screen is slightly larger and its body design is less rounded than it s predecessor. There's no word yet on when the Spectrum 2 will actually become available to Verizon customers or how much it'll cost on contract when it does, but considering today's appearance on Best Buy's website, an official debut likely isn't too far out.
