Last month, Pantech announced that the Burst's update to Ice Cream Sandwich would arrive on September 27, but the update ended up getting pushed back due to "unexpected delays." The wait is finally over, though, as ICS is now available to both the Burst and Element. The updates will bring both devices up to Android 4.0.4 and include goodies like enhanced multitasking and notifications, improved lock screens and new Self and Panorama camera modes. The changelogs for both the Burst and Element updates can be found at the bottom of this post.
As for how you Burst and Element owners can go about installing your respective Ice Cream Sandwich update, Pantech has device upgrade software available for download on its website. We've known for a while now that both the Burst and Element were slated to be upgraded to Android 4.0, but I'm sure owners of these two products are still pretty glad to see that the updates are finally here. If you own either (or both!) of these pieces of Pantech hardware, hit up the the Burst's page or the Element's page to get the update process going.
