After leaking several times in recent months, T-Mobile finally made its new Huawei myTouch devices officially official earlier in July. The devices are set to launch on August 8, but it appears that dummy models of the new handsets have already begun appearing in T-Mobile stores. While we did get some renders of the black versions of the myTouches when T-Mobile initially introduced them, these photos of the dummy units give us a peek at those versions as well as the dark red myTouch and white myTouch Q in the wild.
The spec sheets for both of the new myTouch phones include a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1.4GHz processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, a second shooter around front, 1,500mAh battery and Android 2.3. As far as pricing goes, you can expect to pony up $49.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate for the right to call one of these new myTouch models your own. While these devices may not appeal to folks looking for a bleeding edge device, they could make good options for folks looking for an affordable device. The myTouch Q also adds a QWERTY-equipped Android phone to a lineup that hasn't exactly seen an abundance of those handsets lately.
