Want a better idea of how big the LG Optimus Vu and its 5-inch, 4:3 display is? Then check out the photo above, which shows the Vu resting next to a Samsung Galaxy Note in the wild. The Vu is a tad shorter and wider thanks to the 4:3 aspect ratio of its screen, but obviously both devices have a fairly large footprint. For those wondering, the Galaxy Note officially measures 146.85 millimeters (5.781 inches) tall and 82.95 millimeters (3.266 inches) wide.
Besides the 5-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, the LG Optimus Vu's spec sheet is rumored to include a screen resolution of 1024x768, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, 8GB internal storage, 1GB RAM and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. That's not a bad list of features, but the thing that'll make or break the Vu for many folks is its size, so it'll be interesting to find out what it's like to handle the device. Thankfully we may not have to wait long to do just that, as the Vu may end up being shown at Mobile World Congress later this month. What do you all make of the Vu so far? Think it's something you'd be interested in?
