Looks like the DROID Charge may not be the only Samsung-made handset on Verizon that'll be getting a bump to Gingerbread. Today Verizon posted details of the Samsung Fascinate's Android 2.3 update on its website, adding that the new software is "Coming Soon!" The Fascinate's update to Gingerbread is build number EH03, and owners of the Verizon Galaxy S variant can expect the new software to contain new widgets and icons, a refreshed color scheme, the ability to search contacts by last name and several other goodies. The full changelog is ready and waiting for you down below.
Pretty exciting, right Fascinate owners? We've yet to hear any word from Verizon or Samsung on when Gingerbread might begin rolling out to users, but there are a few users that claim to have already gotten it, so if you've got a Fascinate handy it might be worth it to head into Menu > Settings > About phone > System updates to manually check for the new software. If you manage to pull some Gingerbread down from the sky, be sure to give us a shout in the comments below!
