It was just a couple of days ago that we were first tipped to the existence of the quad-core Acer Iconia Tab A510 and A511 slates, but today it's been revealed that Acer may have a pair of even more impressive tablets in the pipeline. According to another set of User Agent Profiles discovered on Acer's site, the Iconia Tab A700 packs a display with a resolution of 1920x1200 as well as the same quad-core Tegra 3 processor found in the A510. Other specs are still a mystery, but the appearance of a User Agent Profile for a device known as the A701 means that we can likely expect the A700 to be Wi-Fi-only and the A701 to pack cellular connectivity.
We've already heard about a number of upcoming Android tablets that will be packing Tegra 3 heat when they come to market, including all of these Acers, a Lenovo, and the Transformer Prime, but the high-res screen found on the A700/A701 could help those particular devices stand out in what looks to be a slowly growing sea of quad-core slates. Anyone think that the combo of a 1920x1200 display and a Tegra 3 processor would be enough to seal the deal on an A700?
