Ready for three more names to add to your "Smartphones to keep track of" list? The titles of a trio of upcoming Sprint smartphones have been leaked to Engadget, including one of the most anticipated phones of the moment: Sprint's Samsung Galaxy S II. According to the leakster, Sprint's GSII (formerly known as "Within") variant will be dubbed "Epic 4G Touch," or "Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch" if you're not into the whole brevity thing. Next up is the "HTC EVO Design 4G," which Engadget believes to be the previously-leaked Kingdom. Finally, we've been tipped to a mystery product called the "Motorola Admiral." Not much is known about this bad boy, but since there's no "4G" to be found in its name, it's probably safe to assume that there's no WiMAX to be found.
So there you have it. Kind of a bummer that we didn't get photos of these devices along with the names, but at least now we've got some names to attach to the leaks that we've been seeing over the past couple of months. Unfortunately, there's still no telling when these three handsets will actually be launching. Here's to hoping that now that the device names have emerged, official announcements won't be too far behind.
UPDATE: According to a source speaking with SprintFeed, the Motorola Admiral will "most likely" be the retail name of the Motorola Pax that we saw leak out earlier this month.
