In a somewhat strange move for a normally secretive Apple, the Cupertino firm made a pre-announcement this morning announcing what they will be showing off at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 6th. Apple has confirmed that both iOS 5 and iCloud will debut at the event, although the company didn't go into any further detail about either of the two. It's also been revealed that Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be on hand for the keynote on June 6th.
Although many of us expected at least iOS 5 to be shown off at WWDC, it's still kind of surprising to see Apple confirming what they'll be showing off at their gathering next month. Of course, like I said before, it's not like they've really given up any information on iOS 5 or iCloud, but this is still good news for iOS fans, especially those that have been longing for a version of Amazon Cloud Player/Google Music to call their own. Of course, we'll be bringing you all of the info on iOS 5, iCloud, and whatever else Apple shows off at WWDC as it happens, so keep it locked to PhoneDog!
