The HTC Flyer went up for pre-sale today at Best Buy, but if you're still sitting on the fence about whether or not to buy the Taiwanese firm's 7-inch slate, I've got a bit of news that may push you over the edge. According to HTC's official Twitter account, the Flyer will see an update to Android 3.0 Honeycomb "shortly after launch."
It's kind of a bummer that HTC didn't get more specific about when the Honeycomb update will be rolling out to users, but at least you can drop $499.99 on the Flyer and know that you won't be waiting long to be updated to the latest and greatest version of Android. When HTC does get a little more specific about the release date for the Flyer's 3.0 upgrade, you can be sure that we'll pass it along to you.
