As always, we're so appreciative of YOU. You read our articles, comment on our YouTube videos, and interact with us on Facebook. We like giving away stuff, so after an awesome iPad and Tablet giveaway, the PhoneDog is BACK, and he's bringing new prizes with him! This time around, we're giving you the choice between an Apple iPad 2 and some hot smartphones! We'll be switching the smartphones around on a monthly basis depending on what's hot at the time (this is a long contest, after all)! Even better, we'll be shipping the prizes twice monthly, so you don't have to wait for the contest to end before you receive your prize.
As if PhoneDog's Colossal iPad 2 and Smartphone Sweepstakes couldn't get any better, we're adding a new element to the game! It's called "I WIN, WE BOTH WIN," and it's a nice new enhancement that allows you an even greater chance of winning! Think of it like this; when you refer a friend and they click the link, you're getting access to their ticket numbers as well. If any of your referrer's ticket numbers are drawn, you both win!
Let's say you refer 10 friends. Those friends click your link, and then they choose a prize (1 ticket), LIKE PhoneDog (1 ticket), and LIKE the seven (7) network sites (7 tickets). That's a total of nine (9) ticket numbers for them, and nine (9) ticket numbers for you! Multiply that by 10 (number of friends you referred), and that's 90 new ticket opportunities! If one of their ticket numbers are drawn, both you and your friend will win an Apple iPad 2, Google Nexus S, Motorola Atrix 4G, or T-Mobile myTouch 4G.
Start sending those emails, tweets, and Facebook messages to get those referrrals going. Remember to give them your Facebook profile ID so they can enter it in the Sweepstakes application so you both get the credit for it. Let the fun begin!
All you have to do is accept and submit the sweepstakes entry form at http://apps.facebook.com/pdsweepstakes and "LIKE" facebook.com/phonedog and/or any of our other network sites from the time of registration through the sweepstakes period. Existing PhoneDog Facebook fans are able to enter as well - just go into the sweepstakes app and submit the entry, and you're entered to win! A total of nine (9) direct entries can be obtained immediately - one (1) for liking PhoneDog's Facebook page, one additional entry for each partner page that you like, plus one more for choosing a prize.
The Colossal iPad 2 and Smartphone Sweepstakes runs until June 21, 2011 at 5 PM EST/2 PM PST. Winners will be selected starting on March 22, 2011 via a live broadcast on PhoneDog's UStream broadcast page (http://bit.ly/PhoneDogTV) at 6 PM EST/3 PM PST. Send an e-mail within 24 hours of the drawing for that ticket number to claimprizes@phonedog.com. We'll need your name, mailing address, copy of legal identification, Facebook Profile ID, and the Apple iPad 2 color you would like (assuming you chose that as your prize and both white and black are available at that time). If you'd like to change your prize selection, you're free to do so when you e-mail the address above. Winners can expect a reply within 24 hours.

HOW TO ENTER: Enter the sweepstakes at http://apps.facebook.com/pdsweepstakes by choosing to LIKE a minimum of one (1) of the PhoneDog Media Network pages seen on the application form (and listed below), choosing a prize, and entering the sweepstakes. Each participant will receive one entry for each PhoneDog Media Network page LIKE, along with a corresponding TICKET number for each entry. The TICKET number(s) assigned are the participants claim number that will be used to identify them as a winner (just like a lottery drawing, except the participant doesn't choose their numbers). Participants must continue to LIKE each page from the time of entry through the duration of each sweepstakes drawing in order to maintain their entry status and corresponding TICKET numbers. All entries received by 5pm Eastern Standard Time on each drawing day will be entered into the "Colossal iPad 2 and Smartphone Sweepstakes".

REFER A FRIEND “I WIN, WE BOTH WIN” program: As of April 5th, 2011 and effective for the duration of the sweepstakes period, the “I Win, We Both Win” refer-a-friend program has been added to the Colossal iPad 2 and Smartphone Sweepstakes. Any participant who was referred by another participant who is already entered into the sweepstakes, must enter and have the referring friends facebook Profile ID accepted into the referral field under the ENTER HERE tab within the sweepstakes application at http://apps.facebook.com/pdsweepstakes/ to be considered a valid referral. If a referred friend holds a winning ticket number and claims their prize within the 24 hour period of each particular drawing, then the referring friend will win their selected prize as chosen on the entry app as well. Participants referring new friends to the sweepstakes may refer as many friends without any quantity limits with the exception that each referred friend must hold one (1) valid facebook account that meets all the terms of this sweepstakes. Referring participants can view all valid and accepted friend referrals under the MY ENTRIES tab within the Sweepstakes app. Referral profile ID’s entered into the application must be made prior to 6pm EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) of any upcoming drawing to be considered valid. New participants can only designate one person as their referring friend and the referral cannot be changed for the duration of the sweepstakes period.
Refer-a-friend example: If you refer 10 new friends that enter the sweepstakes and each gives you credit as the referrer, then you would essentially have 90 more ticket numbers and chances to win if each referral receives the maximum of 9 ticket numbers by LIKING each facebook page, 10 people x 9 entries = 90. Invite a 100 friends and you’ll have up-to 900 additional chances to win, 100 x 90 = 900.
ADDITIONAL ENTRIES: AMENDED AS OF APRIL 7th, 2011 and effective April 7th. Due to changes to the facebook INVITATION system made by facebook, PhoneDog Media has discontinued the INCREASE YOUR CHANCES portion of this sweepstakes. Participants who have already received additional ticket numbers for successful invitations accepts, will be able to keep those ticket numbers for the remainder of the drawing. The new I WIN, WE BOTH WIN program (noted above) will serve as a replacement for additional entry opportunities. To increase your odds of winning, up-to thirty (30) additional entries can be obtained by inviting your friends using the INCREASE YOUR CHANCES tab in the sweepstakes application. The referring participant will receive one (1) additional entry for each friend that accepts the invitation and enters the sweepstakes using the invitation method. For each friend that accepts the invitation, the referring participant will receive one additional TICKET number and sweepstakes entry. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning is dependent on how many entries we have prior to each drawing.
CLAIMING PRIZES AND SHIPPING: Winning TICKET numbers will be posted after each drawing at http://bit.ly/ColossalOfficialNumbers. Winners must contact us via email at claimprizes@phonedog.com within 24 hours of each drawing date and time. Prizes will be shipped within 21 days of each winners particular drawing date, unless supply constraints or weather delays our ability to obtain the devices for any reason. Winners are required to provide a copy of valid legal identification along with a matching Facebook profile. Inside of the United States, the prize will be shipped via FedEx ground. If the participant is a resident of a country outside of the United States, PhoneDog.com will provide a $25.00 credit for shipping. The winning participant(s) are responsible for providing us with the shipping methods of their choice to receive the prize. Participants are also responsible for any costs above the $25.00 credit provided by PhoneDog.com. The participants are the responsible party for the package once it leaves the United States.
PRIZE TERMS OF SERVICE: The prizes being awarded do not include a monthly service plan, as the winner is awarded only the device, and not any service(s) provided by any wireless carrier.
INVALID ENTRIES: Winners cannot have duplicate facebook accounts and must have only (1) legitimate facebook account with a minimum of 10 friends. Any entries deemed to be fraudulent by PhoneDog Media will be invalid. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means will be void. Employees, officers, editors (and their immediate family and household members (whether or not related) of PhoneDog Media, Inc. (the "Sponsor"), and its divisions, participating vendors, participating advertising and promotion agencies and affiliated entities not eligible to participate in the "Colossal iPad 2 and Smartphone Sweepstakes" (Promotion). In the event of sabotage, acts of God, terrorism or threats thereof, computer virus or other events or causes beyond the Sponsor's control, which corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify entrants and/or modify, cancel or suspend the Promotion. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such cancellation. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible.
RELEASE: By entering the "Colossal iPad 2 and Smartphone Sweepstakes" (Promotion), participants agree, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, to release, discharge and hold harmless Phonedog Media (PhoneDog LLC), their affiliates, their respective owners, and representatives from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses which may arise out of participation in Promotion or out of the acceptance, use, or misuse of prizes. No substitution or transfer of prizes or cash redemptions permitted by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute for any reason whatsoever a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion. Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by the Sponsor. The Winners are responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes (if any) as well as any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of prize not specified herein as being awarded.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: By entering this Promotion, participants grant PhoneDog Media (PhoneDog LLC) and their designees the right, unless prohibited by law, to use their names, cities and states of residences, voices, pictures and likenesses, without compensation, notification or approval, for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the goods and services of the Promotion Entities and all matters related to the Promotion, in any manner or medium, now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity.
