Verizon is going to be launching the Verizon iPhone on February 10th, but a new leak has revealed that Apple's handset won't be the only high-profile Big Red device arriving in the middle of February. As you can see in the image above, Best Buy will begin offering the Honeycomb-powered XOOM on February 17th. Unfortunately, the leaked document didn't bother to specify any kind of pricing info on the XOOM, but the good news is that Best Buy will begin stocking the tablet on February 16th. Maybe if you're buddy-buddy with one of your local BBY employees, you can begin XOOM-ing a day before everyone else.
We've known that the XOOM would be coming some time in Q1 ever since the device was announced back at CES, but it's great to see it arriving in February rather than the end of the quarter. Plus, it's possible that it'll be available at Verizon's corporate stores even earlier. As for pricing, a previous leak revealed that Moto's tablet may cost $800, but that's most likely going to be the full retail price. So how much will we be shelling out for a XOOM with a two-year contract? No one knows just yet, but I wouldn't be shocked if it set us back around $500 or $600. That may sound kind of pricey, but no one ever said that Honeycomb would be cheap. So, who's getting one?
UPDATE: Looks like the source of this leak decided to give us pricing info after all. If you plan on picking up a XOOM from Best Buy, this tipster says you'll be paying $699.99, which is a full $100 less than Verizon's price that leaked in the past.
