Nokia has been kind of quiet lately compared to most other handset manufacturers, which we can blame CES for, but a new rumor suggests that the Finnish company is going to make waves at Mobile World Congress in February.  During CES and the unveiling of several LTE-capable handsets, Nokia put up two posts on their Nokia Conversations blog titled "Why You Want LTE" and "From 1G to 4G."  The company's spokesperson wouldn't admit anything except that Nokia is committed to LTE, but Sascha Segan over at PCMag has heard from several sources that Nokia will be showing up at MWC in a big way.  Along with LTE smartphones, Nokia is expected to tell us more about their plans for MeeGo.

It seems that just about every phone manufacturer around is jumping on the 4G bandwagon or will be soon, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Nokia is planning to get in on the fun, too.  Unfortunately, we don't know much of anything about any of their LTE devices except that they'll boast 4G connectivity.  I would be kind of surprised if we saw Nokia unveil the N9 with LTE built in, but it sure would be awesome, wouldn't it?
