We've already reported that both Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo and Anssi Vanjoki are planning to leave Nokia in the near future, and now the company has confirmed that a third executive is planning his exit from Nokia. Jorma Ollila, former CEO and current chairman of Nokia's board of directors, has said that he will step down from his position in 2012. Ollila had served has Nokia's CEO for 14 years before handing over the reins to OPK in 2006.
Mr. Ollila's departure makes him the third Nokia exec to leave the company in the past week. Many expected Ollila to leave Nokia, however, as the company is in the process of overhauling itself. Appointing Stephen Elop as CEO and President certainly seems to have made several high-profile Nokia execs unhappy, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some more leave the company in the near future. What do you readers think of all of the changes going on at Nokia?
