A friend of mine came up to me a few months ago, new Discover card in hand, and said "Hey, check out my new card!  There's an iPhone app to go along with it!"  Needless to say, I was immediately jealous.  I hopped over to the iPhone, hoping that there was a similar app for my American Express card.  Though I found one for my Chase account, I was saddened to discover that there was no AmEx app available.

Fast forward to today (well, Friday if we're being technical about it), and the app is officially available in Apple's App Store.  Featuring the ability to pay bills, manage your cards, view charges, and more, the free app is a nice addition to the AmEx mobile website (which has been around for quite some time).
