Google typically puts a special statue on its campus to celebrate the launch of major new Android OS releases, but with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many people are working from home. That doesn't mean that Android 11 isn't getting a statue, though.
An official Android 11 statue was unveiled by Google today, and you can view it in your home using augmented reality. Just point your phone at this web page and you'll be able to see Google's Android 11 statue in your room.
The statue features a big "11" with an Android head that pops up in various parts of the statue. On the back of one of the 1's is a list of the new features included with Android 11, and on the side there's a small piece of paper with the recipe for red velvet cake (RVC), which is Google's internal codename for the Android 11 update.
The update to Android 11 officially began rolling out today to Google Pixel phones as well as select devices from OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Realme. You can find a rundown on the new features included with Android 11 right here.
