Less than a week after Apple said it would be re-closing more than 20 of its US stores due to coronavirus spikes, the company has revealed that another large batch of locations will be closing up again.
Apple today confirmed that it will re-close 30 more of its US stores. CNBC notes that this means that 77 of Apple's 271 stores in the US will be closed up.
The new batch of 30 stores that will re-close are located in Alabama, California, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, and Oklahoma. You can find a full list of the latest stores that'll be re-closed this week below.
Apple closed all of its stores in the US in early March due to the coronavirus outbreak. Apple Stores began re-opening a couple months later, with more than 100 opening back up in May and another 70 in June, but now there are COVID-19 spikes in a number of US states and so Apple is re-closing many of its stores to help fight the spread of the virus.
There's no word yet on when these stores that are re-closing might open back up.
