One of the major features of the OnePlus 8 Pro is its wireless charging support because it's the first OnePlus phone to have that feature. Today a new report says that charging could be a big feature of an upcoming OnePlus phone, too, but in a slightly different way.
OnePlus may be working on a 65W wall charger for its next smartphone. A OnePlus wall charger was recently certified by TUV Rheinland, and as noted by the folks at MySmartPrice, it supports charging speeds up to 65W.
The listing doesn't mention anything about any OnePlus smartphones, but it's possible that support for 65W wired fast charging will be a feature of the next OnePlus flagship, whether that's the OnePlus 8T or OnePlus 9.
OnePlus currently sells a 30W wired wall charger that it also packs in with the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, so this 65W fast charger would be a major upgrade for whatever OnePlus phone supports it. Fast charging has always been a major feature for OnePlus phones, and so we could definitely see the company launching a super-fast 65W fast charger as a selling point for its next big phone.
