The Oppo Ace 2 is now official, and it's got some of the fastest wireless charging that we've seen to date.
Oppo says that the Ace 2 supports up to 40W AirVOOC wireless charging. When used with a supported wireless charging pad, the Oppo Air 2 can fully charge its 4000mAh in just 56 minutes. If you're in a hurry, you can get an hour of battery life in 5 minutes.
The Ace 2 can charge even more quickly if you plug it in. The device supports up to 65W wired fast charging that can get you 2 hours of battery life in just 5 minutes.
You can use the Oppo Ace 2 to charge other devices, too. The reverse wireless charging feature will let you charge up other devices at speeds up to 10W.
When it comes to specs not related to charging, the Oppo Ace 2 is pretty speedy, too. It's got a Snapdragon 865 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and the 6.55-inch 2400x1080 OLED display supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate. There's a fingerprint reader built into that screen, too.
Oppo has equipped the Ace 2 with 5G support, up to 256GB of storage, and a 16MP selfie camera. Around back there are four more cameras, including a 48MP main cam with Sony IMX586 sensor and 4-in-1 pixel binning tech, an 8MP ultra wide camera with 119-degree field of view, and a pair of 2MP specialty cameras: one light leakage lens and one retro portrait cam.
The Oppo Ace 2 will launch in China on April 20th. Pricing starts at 3999 yuan ($567 USD) for the 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB version is 4399 ($624 USD) yuan and the top-end 12GB/256GB model will set buyers back 4599 yuan ($652 USD).
