The Poco X2 is now official, and just like the previous phone from the Xiaomi sub-brand, it's focused on offering high-end specs at an extremely aggressive price.
One of the highlight features of the Poco X2 is its display. It's a 6.67-inch 2400x1800 LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Poco says that it's #SmoothAF thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate. The bezels around the screen are pretty slim, though there is a small chin at the bottom.
In the upper right corner of that screen is a hole-punch with two selfie cameras: a 20MP sensor and a 2MP cam. Around back there are four more cameras, including a 64MP main cam with a Sony IMX686 sensor and f/1.89 aperture. There's an 8MP ultra-wide cam with 120-degree field of view, too, plus a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera for your portrait mode shots.
Rounding out the external features of the Poco X2 is the side-mounted fingerprint reader, the USB-C charging port, and the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Inside the Poco X2 is a Snapdragon 730G processor, which is one of Qualcomm's gaming-focused chips with an enhanced Adreno 618 GPU that offers up to 15 percent faster graphics performance than the regular Snapdragon 730G. And to help keep the Poco X2 cool during intense gaming sessions, there's Poco's LiquidCool tech.
The Poco X2 is also packing 6/8GB of RAM, 64/128/256GB storage options, and dual SIM slots, one of which doubles as a microSD slot. A 4500mAh battery is powering the phone, and there's 27W fast charging support to help you refill that battery more quickly.
As we mentioned before, Poco is focused on offering its devices at aggressive prices. When the Poco X2 launches in India on February 11th, it'll start at Rs. 15,999 ($225 USD) for the 6GB/64GB model. Stepping up to the 6GB/128GB version will cost you Rs. 16,999 ($239 USD), and the top-end 8GB/256GB version of the Poco X2 will be priced at Rs. 19,999 ($281 USD).
