Lenovo brought some new devices with it to CES 2020 this week, including a new Android tablet and a smart frame with a 21-inch screen.
The Lenovo Smart Tab M10 FHD Plus 2nd Gen with the Google Assistant features the Ambient Mode in addition to its lengthy name. With Ambient Mode, the Google Assistant will give you a visual overview of your upcoming calendar appointments, any music you might have playing, and controls for all your smart home devices. It'll also turn into a digital photo frame when you're done using those controls.
When you take the Lenovo Smart Tab M10 out of its dock, you get an Android 9 Pie-powered tablet with a 10.3-inch 1920x1200 display, 8MP rear and 5MP front cameras, and an octa-core MediaTek P22T Tab processor. Also included is up to 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, a microSD slot, and dual speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos. A 5000mAh battery powers the device.
Lenovo will launch the Smart Tab M10 in 2020 at a starting price of $189.
Also introduced today is the Lenovo Smart Frame. This device has a whopping 21.5-inch display that can rotate 90 degrees to show horizontal or vertical photos. The screen has a matte finish and anti-glare layer to make sure it looks good in any setting, and a color tone sensor will adjust brightness to its surroundings.
Lenovo has included an AI with the Smart Frame that'll curate your photo album and create digital collages automatically. There's also a free app included with hundreds of art pieces that you can display in your home.
The Lenovo Smart Frame will arrive starting in August 2020 for a $399 starting price.
Lenovo's got a couple of new Chromebooks for us today, too. The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet Chromebook is a 2-in-1 device with a 10.1-inch 1920x1200 display that can act as a tablet or can be attached to a keyboard when you need some real buttons beneath your fingers.
The IdeaPad Duet Chromebook has an octa-core MediaTek P60T at its core along with 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, and a 7000mAh battery. There are 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras, too.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet Chromebook will also be known as the Lenovo Chromebook Duet in North America. It'll launch in May 2020 at a starting price of $279.99.
Lenovo took the wraps off of a slightly more traditional Chromebook today, too. The IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook (or Chromebook Flex 5 in North America) has a 2-in-1 design that lets you flip the keyboard around to the back of the device and use the touchscreen as a tablet.
Another highlight feature of the IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook is that it's the first Lenovo consumer Chromebook to support a digital pen thanks to its included stylus. You can use that pen on the 13-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen that goes up to 300 nits of brightness.
This Chromebook is also packing a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, up to 128GB of SSD storage, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 10 hours of battery life, and a Thunderbolt 3 port.
Expect the IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook to launch in late June 2020 at a starting price of $359.
