It feels like it's been a while since we've heard anything about Motorola's rumored RAZR foldable, but according to a new report, it's still coming and it could be announced soon.
Motorola is reportedly still aiming to launch its foldable RAZR phone before the end of 2019. A report from CNET claims that Motorola originally planned to reveal the phone this past summer, but obviously that window came and went without an announcement. The device is still expected to make its official debut before the year is out, though.
Unfortunately, while the foldable RAZR is expected to be announced this year, it's not known when it'll actually go on sale to the public.
We've been hearing rumblings about a Motorola RAZR with a foldable screen since the start of 2019, and Motorola actually confirmed at one point that it's been working on foldables for a while now. There hasn't been much in the way of image or spec leaks, but patent filings from Motorola suggested that the device could look like an old RAZR flip phone, but with a large foldable screen instead of a keypad as well as a smaller external display.
