We've seen Android Pie slowly spreading to non-Google Pixel phones over the last couple of months, and this week another device is getting is helping of Pie.
The HTC U11 Life is receiving its update to Android 9.0 Pie. This makes the U11 Life the first HTC phone to be updated to Pie, as we haven't heard anything about when the HTC U12+ flagship will be getting its update.

The Pie update appears to be rolling out to the international version of the HTC U11 Life with Android One. It's 720.3MB in size and includes the October 2018 Android security patches.
Because it's running Android One and not HTC's custom Sense UI overlay, it's not too surprising that the HTC U11 Life is getting Android Pie before HTC's U12+ flagship. The good news is that HTC has confirmed that the U12+, U11+, and U11 will all be updated to Android Pie as well, we just don't yet know exactly when those updates will begin rolling out.
