We've heard several times that Samsung is prepping three versions of its Galaxy S10 flagship, but now a new report claims that Samsung's got a fourth version in the works.
Samsung will release special version of the Galaxy S10 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its Galaxy S lineup, according to The Wall Street Journal. The device will have six total cameras, two in the front and four in the back, that'll reportedly offer "richer photos and better spatial perception."
This special edition Galaxy S10 will also have a 6.7-inch screen, which would be larger than the 5.8-inch and 6.4-inch screens that the other Galaxy S10 models are expected to include. This device's spec list will also allegedly include 5G connectivity, and its codename is said to be "Beyond X".
Samsung is reportedly planning to introduce its four Galaxy S10 models at an event in mid-February 2019, and the anniversary edition model will launch in the U.S. whenever carriers have 5G networks ready, which is expected to happen by next spring.
With a 6.7-inch screen, six cameras, and 5G connectivity, this special edition Galaxy S10 sounds like quite the smartphone. The near-7-inch display could turn some folks off, but overall this could be a pretty exciting device for smartphone addicts who love bleeding edge specs. Just keep in mind that with a huge screen, six cameras, and 5G support, this anniversary edition Galaxy S10 probably won't be cheap.
