Great Coverage only goes so far...

The good: Pretty good coverage for the area, only drop calls from my home location 90% of the time, so livable. Prices and packages they offer are inline with what others offer as wellThe bad: TERRIBLE customer service!!! I signed up for service right after hurricane Rita and had to accept a sub standard phone, which died after several months. They wouldn't replace it, after purchasing another phone (at no discount!)they failed to give me insurance which I had asked for. Upon arriving home I noticed the error and they refused to add it on! After my year is up, I'll not pick up this service again.Summary: Coverage is ok but customer service is substandard so it's a trade off to what matters most to you.

The good: good to get free time to talk to verizon customers.The bad: many places(like in my house) the phone loses connectionSummary: definitely need to use phone with the antena, orethwise big trouble.

The good: They are well known. Stores to look at phones are all over.The bad: Not all customer service people are fully trained. Can be a pain to get miss information. But you'd get that anywhere I guess.Summary: It's okay. I've been with them for almost 10 years. Had a few issues but nothing that wasn't resolved

The good: Good coverage,hardly any dropped calls I have used 3 diffrent carriers in the past Verizon is the bestThe bad: no ConsSummary: Verizon is the best wireless service I ever had with Cigular I could not even get service in my own house when I called to complain their customer service did not even care they are the worst in the wireless Cell phone business I would not use their service if it was FREE Verizon is the best

I wouldn't hesitate to go with Verizon Wirelss. I have had friends complain about the service from Cingular, and the overcharging of Sprint. I can honestly say I have NEVER had a problem with Verizon Wireless

The good: Great service and coverage. customer service is grat. The bad: High plan prices and customer service could be little bit more organizedSummary: I have bee nwith this company for over 5 years. I love the service and any time I have issued they are resolved quickly. The only thing that I do not like is that they have several service centers so when you call them and inquire about a previous issue sometines they cant even get you to the tech you worked with previously.

The good: dropped calls are rare and coverage is extremely good in and around our area and close states.The bad: Wish they would offer their long term customers more minutes and options.Summary: over all the service has been fantastic and customer support is right on the mark.

The good: I moved to the town of Delaware, in Ripley county Indiana in 2005. My friends and family had several different cell phone carriers, the only one that would work at my home was Verizon. The service is good enough that I don't need to get a land line phone. Costs $39.95 per month, 500 talk minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, no roaming or long distance charges.The bad: About $5.00 taxes per month.Summary: Save your money, get Verizon, or at least check them out.

Not Much Service

The good: It is okay in some ways. The bad: When I am at home, there is no service. I would like to be able to use it, when I have to call long distance, from my home. When I am in some areas, that I go to, I don't have service, which in a lot of different areas.Summary: I would like to see more coverage in the places that I go. Also, I would like to see a better plan that what I have. I am thinking of changing to another company that has came into town in the past few years. My sister has service with another company and she can use her cell phone at my house.
