T-Mobile!

Posted on: July 28th, 2008 by Anonymous

The good: OUTSTANDING customer care!! BRAVO! Great Coverage!Cool phones!GSM Technology! And AGAIN Terrific customer care!Hotsp@Hme ServiceThe bad: Quite a few kiddy phones.About 3 dropped calls per month. Not all rate plans come with FREE Nights/We.En.Poor mobile phone insurance...Summary: T-Mobile USA is a great company! I have been with them for 15 months and I am VERY pleased! I love my phone(Sams. T519), I love my coverage, and I ADORE my CC agents!! They are like my 2nd family. I have had at&t and Sprint and T-Mobile is WAAAY better than both! Although I would prefer Verizon Wireless. However, I dont like the insurance policys and some of the phones. Like depending on how fancy your phone is, you will pay either 70$ or 110$ to have it exchanged if you have insurance. Verizon however, makes you pay only 50$ for any phone you have insured. Also, unless your paying $79.99 for a new phone w/ service, your gonna be looking at a little "kiddy" phone. Like the Sams. T639- I would consider a Kiddy phone. The Nokia 6301-I would consider I nice mature' phone. But overall T-Mobile is a great company to be with, and if your looking for good coverage, cheap plans, and satisfaction, T-Mobile USA is the way to go!! :) Any Questions? Feel free to IM me on AIM! My screen name is "EHwurger"

Posted on: July 15th, 2008 by mark martin

The good: noneThe bad: no reception, worst customer service,Summary: When we moved to another area they lied and said we would get service. They wanted to clean and upgrade equipments instead. Then tried to sell us more services. You can't keep up the service you have what makes you think I want to put more money in company.

Research your area before you sell to customers

Posted on: July 14th, 2008 by kirk cote

The good: none foundThe bad: liars, never fix problems, only interested in their monthly feesSummary: new cell company in the area some 3 years ago. Told me they were getting towers... never happened. told that there would be a local number, only number they had was a town 60 miles away so everyone had to call long distance. Was dragged along by rep till 30 days was past, so i had to pay penalty for contract on a phone that would only work on canadian towers... which they told me only to use there towers which made phone useless

Posted on: July 11th, 2008 by Sherri Martin

The good: Kiosk customer service was friendlyThe bad: They report coverage were there are noneSummary: When we moved to another part of the county, we didn't get but one bar (sometimes) where they said we should get three. We complained within our first year of our move. Upgrade your phone they say...we did.. didn't help and put us into another 2 year contract. We are getting new towers they say....a year later..still no new towers. Very disappointed.

The good: Ok phones, basic plans not to pricey, unlimited nights and weekendsThe bad: Bad customer service, bad reception, internet is expensive, bad options Summary: The reason i got t mobile is because my dads friend is a franchise owner so we got full rebates on all our phones, but the service is bad, i have no bars anywhere, it is just really bad.

T-mobile stinks!

Posted on: June 30th, 2008 by Penny Rearick

The good: noneThe bad: Very poor troubleshooting assistance - while everyone is very polite - they aren't at all helpful!Summary: I had t-mobile for almost 10 years - just had no reason to change....everything worked ok....so I stayed. Then, voice mail service on my phone quit working....I called customer service repeatedly...no luck. The problem continued for weeks on end. They kept "bumping me up" to the next leve of support - still - No voice mail. Noone could leave me a message. I use this phone for work - I couldn't function for weeks on end with no voice mail - I told them that repeatedly - still no resolution. Finally I had to switch carriers - I needed voice mail! I then discovered that T-Mobile's coverage area in CT stunk compared to my new carrier (AT&T). THEN T-Mobile had the Nerve to try and get me to pay an early termination fee (I had been their loyal customer for YEARS!!!!) I only left because THEY dropped the ball.....I refused to pay.....ugh...I am SOOOOO Happy to be done with T-Mobile. AT&T is SOOOOOO much better!

Worst provider ever

Posted on: May 27th, 2008 by Ja Licno

i thought verizon is the worst provider but i just find out that t-mobil is. I want it to transfer my pre-paid account to post-paid end-up talking to 100 people and at the end no one was able to do it. How hard it is to transfer line and keep the same number sounds easy but not with t-mobile. I end up cancelling my service because after two days trying to explain it is not worth it. will never recommand tmobil to anyone. The worst provider EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These days I would rather go with Verizon...

Location is the key in CA

Posted on: May 27th, 2008 by Ryuko Shirotori

The good: Fantastic reception*; competitive pricing; most of the features I want; Service generally good; Reception map online! The bad: Data plans are costly; Reception depends on where you live; website slow and clunkySummary: Reception where I live is fantastic (although down the hill it is horrible for almost any carrier) so I rely on my cell as the primary phone @ home and work. A few dead spots out in the country in Monterey county, and almost none in the Silicon Valley area. Their myFavs plans are pretty decently priced;considering Alltel doesn't have service here, they're best "circle" plan I know of in CA. Although customer service over the phone has generally been great, their website is is always slow and half the features don't work on it. Very difficult to manage my account online. Additionally, their selection of phones is a bit lacking compared to other carriers. Being a GSM network is a huge counter to this however, as most 1900mHz GSM phones work great on the T-Mobile network. Bottom line: if you get good coverage in your area (they have free coverage maps on their website! What a novel idea!), then I recommend them.
