Horrible Service

Posted on: May 7th, 2009 by Anonymous

The good: No ProsThe bad: Horrible Customer Service, No Bars in places were bars are in Att, Bad BillingSummary: I had Tmobile for 5 years. I was paying $220 for 2 phones I didnt have any extra features nothing I had unlimited which is 140.99 should be 156.99 with tax checked. But when i call customer service they cant fix anything Threatening to cancel service dosent work either which i dont try lots of times only when needed. My friend works at tmobile he is restricted to do any changes to my account but he dosent even use tmobile he thinks it sucks. The bar problems were said to be fixed 2 months ago. I checked with my friend he said what "Problem" thats how it is. I switched to Att they have awesome service for the price and there billing is actually in place

READ THIS BEFORE GETTING A T-MOBILE PHONE.

Posted on: May 6th, 2009 by John lask

The good: NONE for t-mobileThe bad: t-mobile is not a real company Summary: READ THIS BEFORE GETTING A T-MOBILE PHONE. I was a T-Mobile customer for over 3 years. The service was horrible. Most my calls went to voice mail and the phone never would ring. My data was always down. So you ask why I was a customer for 3 years because the sales people lie and I got stuck in contracts. Now I am almost free. This is what I want to warn people about though my phone was stolen. I thought I just lost it in my house. I called my phone and it did not ring it went to my voice mail. I checked online and no calls showed up. Two weeks latter 300 min of international calls showed up. When I called customer service they were rude, they would not transfer me to a supervisor they refused to send my call to customer relations. I called 20 times and not once could I get past the minimum wage sales person. They even tried to sale me a phone why I was talking about the 300 dollar phone bill. Once one of the sales people transferred me to another sales person and he pretended to be a supervisor. Except when I called back I was told from another call center that the person was not a supervisor. I was also told that there are no General Managers and T-Mobil only has call centers. In the end they said I have to pay the 300 bucks. I am one of the people who read reviews and think it will never happen to me. It did and T-Mobile. Yes and there is more. They said if I don?t continue to pay for the phone then I have to pay them an additional 200 bucks.

T-Mobile customer service

Posted on: April 23rd, 2009 by Anonymous

The good: if you don't need customer service, the phone service is decent for a reasonable value. The bad: The worst customer service I have ever encountered. They have a terrible confusing Call Center that takes you on paths to nowhere and the customer reps transfer you to the wrong places. One of the reps was rude and unsympathetic like I was wasting her time. I do customer service so I know how it should be done.Summary: I have had service for years for my son's phone but never needed customer service -- this has been a decent experience with good reception & reasonable rates.recently, I bought over the internet from their site for my wife -- it arrived with a defective '6' button. After the runaround for over an hr bouncing back and forth from reps that would not take ownership, I was informed that it was too bad for me, send it back and wait up to 3 weeks for it to be repaired. Meanwhile, too bad if I have no service in the meantime.

Better than AT&T and Sprint

Posted on: April 6th, 2009 by Joy Santos

The good: Best customer service; good prices; overall good serviceThe bad: Low reception in a few placesSummary: I have had T-Mobile for the past 3 years and have been out of contract for 2 years (they used to offer a 1-year contract). I have to say that I am overall pleased with their service, prices, and most of all, their customer service. Customer service is VERY important to me and TMO's customer service reps give good, knowledgeable answers in a kindly manner. It is obvious that they try very hard to make their customers happy. In fact, I switched from AT&T, because of the total lack of customer service I was getting. Most upsetting, was AT&T's refusal to unlock my phone when I was taking a work transfer to Europe for a few months. This was despite the fact that I had been out of contract for two years and offered to keep my line active. They were misinformed, blatantly lied, and yelled at me. Their response was that their roaming and long distance prices were reasonable. Sorry, but I'm not willing to charge my company $3/minute for every call I make just because AT&T is too stupid and too greedy to unlock my phone. I considered getting them when I returned, but customer service in their stores is as bad as it is on the phone. Before AT&T, I had Sprint. Their service was okay (admittedly, AT&T probably has the best coverage area of these three), but their customer service was also horrible. Quite honestly, they were really ghetto. To summarize, T-Mobile offers the best customer service of the three carriers I have had. Their coverage area isn't as good as AT&T's, but is still good and meets my needs.

T-Mobile The best

Posted on: March 20th, 2009 by Arjun Jain

The good: There are so many too list, I just love their phones, their customer service is really nice, there service comes everywhere, and they are really flexible if you want a new phone, or if your phone broke, it is a really good service. The bad: There were cons, about last year, the two year services, but now they changed and it is much better. But personally, I don't really like the my faves plan. Summary: This is a good service for everybody, mainly for people with familys, it is really good.

What are you people talking about?

Posted on: February 1st, 2009 by F D

The good: Customer service is great! They are very knowledgeable and professional. The bad: Currently - No Iphone service. They have their G-1, but the Iphone interface works so well, its the one to get. I hope T-Mobile smartens up on this point!Summary: I have always experienced a higher level of competence and quality of service from the customer service reps at T-Mobile. Their bills are always correct. While other carriers offer customer service until 7 or 8 PM, it seems that I can always reach someone at T-Mobile (and they are U.S. based, Thank you very much) - could they be 24/7? seems like it.T-Mobile's call quality is also excellent. No muffled calls, and always clear and no static. T-Mobile's coverage area might be a bit weak away from populated areas in the Carolinas and a few other less populated areas around the country, but their rates are about $10-$30 a month less for comparative minutes. At least, they are not compromising their high quality service business model as they slowly but surely expand their coverage area.Be aware, phone insurance has always been a joke. I have been using cellphones for 15 years, and except for once never dropped a phone and caused serious enough damage to cause me to get a new phone - but even then I purchased an unlocked phone over the net to get me through the rest of my contract. I could have gotten a free phone through the service provider I had back then, but I know they would have required me to extend my contract which I didn't want to do.I have more than enough money saved to purchase an additonal unlocked phone by just being careful, and not having to pay for insurance.

**I worked within TMO TRUST ME!!!!**

Posted on: January 26th, 2009 by Angela Jones

The good: If you complain enough and threaten to cancel services I GUARANTEE you will get what you want The bad: Lie to there customers just to get them off the phoneStore reps don't know nothing and also will lie to you TMO is ONLY worried about being politeSummary: PLEASE READ: I worked within T-Mobile and I tell you one thing they would NEVER ever get my MONEY!!! This is just a summary NOT everything cause I would have to open a whole new website for how bad T-Mobile do there customers.1. They are so worried about being polite to the customer that lieing to the customer is not top priorty even though calls are recorded. I get so many people across America I really feel sorry for because they are giving money to people who doesn't really care and only want money and a sell. I know it has a lot to do w/ the rep to but at the same time TMO hear these calls and really don't correct the misleading but will correct you if you are not having some what of a personal relationship with a customer. I know when I call a call center only thing I want done is what I called for and done CORRECTLY. I really don't care for a rep to be asking me all kinds of questions about the weather, or my kids just get the job done. People are happy with just "How is your day"? Not all that FAKE scripted emphasizing w/ people. 2. Good luck if you are calling about a malfunctioning phone because you will be transfered a lot between your insurance provider and TMO because no one seems to know how to process a exchange warrenty and insurance is NOT who process exchange warrenties (Just a TIP) You lucky if you get a rep who knows!!! It is VERY frustrating on the customer and the reps3. I feel sorry for people who requested insurance on there phone and it wasn't added on by accident or whatever the case may be because everyone will just point the finger when it is known that insurance can't be BACK DATED!!! So your screwed on getting a phone unless you have enough time to go back and forth w/ TMO and insurance when TMO is the ones responsible for the replacement phone. But if you threating to cancel services enough you will get your way. TRUST!! Specially if you been w/ them for years you can get what you want pretty much4. If your phone is stolen T-Mobile are the ONLY provider that require a police report. Now what police station you know will provide a report for a stolen phone ONLY? Trust me if you don't get it you will not be getting a phone.5. Last but not least because I can write a novel on TMO service and customer service. If you get insurance DO NOT let the store rep or customer care rep FOOL you and have you thinking you will pay $5.99/ month and call and get a replacement at NO CHARGE. You will have to pay a deductible of either $25, $40, $90, or $130 depending on yor phone unless your phone has a malfunctioning issue (Like any insurance there is NO such thing as FULL FULL coverage or should I say FREE). But if the phone is damaged, lost or stolen GET READY to pay a deductible and provide a police report for stolen phones. Also T-Mobile is the ONLY company who deductibles are not just straight $50.00 like MOST providers.*** I hope this helps anyone who is thinking about get

Exceptionally Poor Customer Service

Posted on: January 5th, 2009 by Anonymous

The good: Lots of minutes if you have the myfave and unlimited m2m which you have to pay for anyway. The bad: Exceptionally worst customer care service.Exceptionally unable to resolve any problems with their products.Exceptionally rude customer care service.Summary: I had a phone that I had purchased through T-mobile Motorola RIZR Z3 back in December 2007 and not even a couple months and the keys stopped working so I had to send it back to them to get it replaced. Sure they've replaced the phone with a REFURBISHED one that only lasted for about six months and the same problem with the phone only this time T-Mobile refuse to even investigate what the problem is and just said that they're unable to help me with this problem phone. I was passed around to at least 6 different people and ultimately didn't even come close to resolving the problem. I ended up closing my account since T-Mobile won't even offer to give me another phone to replace the defective REFURBISHED phone. Not only did they not replace the phone that I can no longer use but they are imposing the $200 early termination fee as well. I wrote a letter to T-Mobile about this experience and they acknowledged the receipt of it and made sure to note in the letter that in spite of all the troubles that I had to deal with their company I must pay them the early termination fee. Early termination of the upgraded phone that I received back in December 2007 which I still had to pay for $150 anyway. T-Mobile is a total ripped off company!!!

Would give ZERO stars if I could...

Posted on: December 5th, 2008 by O. Smith

The good: Cheap, ok customer serviceThe bad: No/limited Service almost everywhere, Phone wont ring but i get voice mails (tried three different phones) dropped calls, frequent towers down, Summary: The phone selection is pretty limited -- I would know because i have gone through six of them in the last four years. They now charge you if you get a new phone ($18) even if the phone is not an upgrade. This is rediculous. In the last year or so, my phones have all refused to ring at various times. They go straight to voice mail! This happens to my husband too. Very annoying. I also get "All circuts busy" quite often. The service is ok but certainly not worth staying. We're changing our family plan to Verizon in two weeks...

Awesome

Posted on: December 3rd, 2008 by Jennifer D

The good: Great customer serviceThe bad: Low-service areas in parts of townSummary: I have had T-Mobile service since April 2006 and have been very pleased. I have had contracts with every other major service provider and none of them compare to the customer service I get with T-Mobile. I had an issue about a year ago where my phone was stolen and I called them to have it shut off so that nobody would be able to use it and run up charges. Somehow, the phone was turned back on after two weeks and I received a bill for over $400. I called T-Mobile, they looked it up and verified that I had called to report the phone stolen and asked them to turn it off, and they immediately took off the $400 in charges and apologized to me for the mistake and inconvenience. They are always very friendly every time I call, and the charges on my bill are always the same...never any surprises like I've had with other companies. Changing plans or add-ons online or by phone is a breeze, and there are no charges or contract extensions for doing either. Plus, they offer a corporate discount through my employer which is a huge plus. In certain parts of town reception can be a little shotty but other than that I love the service. I would recommend T-Mobile to anybody.
