Beware T-Mobile

Posted on: July 21st, 2010 by theresa kirby

The good: I'm hard pressed to find something nice to say. Their logo is nice??The bad: The personnel at T-Mobile stores give misinformation and customer service people on the phones try to sell you things you don't need. They add things you never asked for.Summary: Good luck getting T-Mob to respond to a complaint. Customer Service will tell you to fax your complaint. Then they'll deny they got it. You can't mail a certified letter to their PO Box. They deny they got a letter. I'd love an honest postcard--"Sorry we're too busy distributing corporate bonuses to bother with customers we've screwed earlier this year."

Great service and call quality, the plans are also very well priced. I definitely recommend Tmobile!

Customer Service

Posted on: May 13th, 2010 by Rebecca Nichols

My family recently moved to a new location and my daughter had service with t-mobile phone and at our new location she had no service. I called t-mobile several times within a two month period trying to get help with our problem. T-mobile finally told me that she was not going to be able to get service at our new location and I should look for a different service provider and that I would not have to pay the early termination fee. So we switch services and then a month later I received a bill for $287.00 and I called back customer service and said that I would have to pay the early termination fee. I do not recommend t-mobile as your wireless service provider.

Worst Cell-Phone Company EVER!!!

Posted on: April 27th, 2010 by Sarah Mendel

T-Mobile has screwed up from day one. First, they signed me up for a plan other than what I wanted. Then, they gave me a lot of grief when I tried to explain their mistake to them. After spending at least three hours on the phone, they finally corrected their mistake. Also, their bills have always been a mystery to me. Several times I have tried to call and have a representative explain to me what I was paying for - but to no avail. Finally, my plan included text messages but they still charged me per text message. Having them correct that was another three-hour long session at least. And on top of all this, their service stinks! I had poor reception in so many places!

Customer Service is Awesome even if you are not a Customer

Posted on: March 22nd, 2010 by Deanna M.

The good: Customer ServiceThe bad: PhonesSummary: My employer has required all the employees to have the same phone service, which meant I had to cancel my T-Mobile phone and services after being with them since they were available in the state of Florida. I have been a loyal customer and they have treated me like I was their most important client. Even after my service was terminated, I needed to call about a question on my bill. The problem was addressed after being on hold less than one minute. Philip, my customer service rep was patient, understanding, apologetic, and took care of my needs immediately. Quite frankly he was AWESOME! I will miss T-Mobile and I am sure their customer service! T-Mobile,...I will be back.

T-Mobile worth it

Posted on: March 8th, 2010 by Tony Gallardo

The good: Great customer service. Service and monthly rate plans for a great price. The bad: None at this timeSummary: I had Verizon Wireless for 4 years and my only complain with them was the long lines in the stores and very dissappointing in store customer service. I switch to T-Mobile early 2009 and I find that there is no difference in service coming from Verizon. For the cost, its definitely worth making the switch. T-Mobile is finally coming out with great devices. First carrier to carry the Android phones and now all the other carriers follow. Great company and well worth the switch

Smallest Package Holds Great Stuff

Posted on: January 12th, 2010 by Duane Everett

The good: Coverage (in my area), Cost, Phones and Plans, Costumer ServiceThe bad: I have none at this timeSummary: T-Mobile maybe the smallest of the 4 major cell phone carriers but it not lacking a bit. My plan an *unlimited* Data, Text, Calling at a cost of $99. I have been with Verizon, whos coverage was great but you will pay for that, Sprint which has good pricing but the coverage is very spotty (in my area) and AT&T before and after the merger but only really having the iPhone, at a steep cost (Data $30, Texting $20 didnt even ask for unlimited calling) wasnt an option especially with the bad coverage problems in my area. I'm a SmartPhone guy and I like having all the extras. I really like GSM service and with it comes some pluses, and T-Mobile seems to be on the ball with getting the Hot Euro Phones, Android and Windows alike. I had an issue with Sprint before switching to T-Mobile and they were more than glad to help me out, they even offered to let me out of a contract to straighten out the problem, now who lets you do that or even tells you can? I must say their costumer service is tops, Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint should take lessons. Phones I have (G1 and HTC Touch Pro 2) on their service don't amount to as many as I have had with others but I have been pleased with them and so far the flawless coverage provided by T-Mobile. Phone Dog needs to change some of their info on the company in the Pros and Cons section because as of the last quarter of 2009 T-Mobile has changed their plans and open their Data Plans up to compete and believe me after you check them out you will understand. $99 for UNLIMITED EVERYTHING and a Touch Pro 2 that only Verizon had at a lower price. Yeah Sprint had it at $350 also but after a 100 mail-in rebate and I'm still waiting for my Hero's rebate to come back that I purchased in October, 16 weeks, mine as well had said 4 to 5 months, and I wish they would have stated the time factor when I bought it. Well enough Sprint bashing, this is about T-Mobile. I really think they got a bad rap in the beginning and maybe in helped them see the light and they are and have turned things around. Improved Pricing, Coverage, Costumer Service, and yes they have more than the Side-Kick now, lol, so they are well on their way up and unless the 3 in front start to straighten out their act T-Mobile will catch them all.

FANTASTIC customer service

Posted on: January 11th, 2010 by Lauren Chiodo-Benmuvhar

The good: The service reps are always on the phone (as a live person) within seconds of calling 611, they are all understandable (no, I don't know what some of you are talking about--TMobile CS isn't outsourced--most of their call centers are in the midwest), they have BY FAR the lowest cost of plans across the board, if they can't fix something immediately, they'll credit your bill or add minutes to your account...the list goes on and on. I have now been with them for 10 years and have no plans of leaviThe bad: If you want an iPhone (to some people, that's important), they don't have it. Go to AT&T for that.Summary: T-Mobile has BY FAR the most fantastic customer service of any service that I pay for or have paid for in the past. All of the service reps either (a) know exactly what they're talking about, or (b) are more than happy to find out the answer to your question for you.
