T-Mobile business practices are unethical. They are theifs and avoid a contract at all costs!!!!

Posted on: December 30th, 2011 by Jessica Walling

Dear T-Mobile, I have been a loyal customer since 2003 and am appalled at your lack of good customer service. Last year I upgraded my razor to a Samsung Galaxy, that is possibly the biggest mistake I have ever made, within a year I had four different Samsung Galaxy's sent to me as none of them worked. After being fed up with having a lemon of phone I contacted you once again to get the situation rectified, I was told that I could either get another Galaxy at which point the customer service agent (Kevin) mentioned that it would probably not work either and offered me an upgrade (please keep in mind that my Galaxy was less than a year old and I had paid roughly $400 for it) which would cost me an additional $400! I was not offered a similar product that would work, feeling as though I had no choice I paid for the upgrade (though in hindsight I should have just cancelled my account). At the time the customer service agent said he would rework my plan so that I may save money in the long run, however he failed to tell me that he would also be renewing my contract for another two years! I received the upgrade two weeks later, though I was told I would receive it overnight and in the end I was charged for a line that I was unable to use for two weeks though I had been told that I would be refunded for the time that I was without a phone, when I called to get the credit I was told that I was misinformed and that I could have received a phone from a T-Mobile store instead of waiting for the new one to get here (an option I was not given initially). I've had the Samsung S now for about one month and surprise surprise this phone doesn't work either! I called yesterday to get a replacement and was told that it would be overnighted to me however I would not receive it until Monday as UPS doesn't deliver on Saturdays....FYI YES THEY DO! I inquired about when my contract would be up and that is when I was informed by Adrian employee number 8272667 that my contract had been renewed when I had been tricked into upgrading my phone in October. Since Adrian couldn't really help me and simply kept repeating the same thing over and over (you upgraded therefore your contract was renewed therefore you need to pay $200 per line to cancel your account and if you have a complaint feel free to write a letter and mail it to our complaint department) I asked to speak to someone who could actually help me, I was refused a phone number where I could speak to someone regarding my grievances. I found the telephone number to T-Mobile corporate offices and was hung up on twice by the person who answered and told a couple more times that there was nobody available to help me. I am disgusted by your unethical business practices and have filed a complaint with the BBB and the FTC. To date nobody has been willing to help me and it is for that reason that I will make sure to tell everyone I know how T-MOBILE does business. ATTENTION CONSUMERS.......DO NOT GET INTO A CONTRACT WITH T-MOBILE....RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND USE ANOTHER CARRIER, ONE THAT CARES ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS!

T-Mobile is an Un-Ethical Business!

Posted on: December 29th, 2011 by Anonymous

I am appalled by T-Mobiles business ethics. Initially, I was told that I would receive two phones as per my contract. Once I agreed to the contract, and within the same phone conversation I was transferred where someone else re-canted what was originally stated to me. I would not recieve the free phones. I immediately wanted everything reversed back to the way it was prior to calling. However, instead of reversing the contract to my previous (contract free one), I was placed in an alternate plan, locked in contract. When, I discovered what their organization had done, I immediately asked T-Mobile to reverse my contract to the original (contract free) one?WITHIN THE SAME PHONE CONVERSATION!!!!!! The contract should have been reversed- I should not have been placed in an alternate plan. It is beside me, as to how they are able to hold a person to a contract that I asked reversed within the same phone conversation once I realized that the organization would not honor the free phones. Furthermore, customer service is a joke. I was told that I would receive a response within 10 business days about reversal of the contract, and it is well over that. What kind of an organization may only be contacted though e-mail pertaining to contract issues? It seems to me, only one that does not want to be held accountable for un-ethical business practices. No one has questioned as to why we are in a NEW contract and still using the same phones that I purchased over 2 years ago, nor do we really know what this contract includes. T-MOBILE is a joke! I guess the joke is on me, it is going to take $800 to break the contract that I now am bound to. DO NOT USE t-mobile! RUN....

They will keep on billing you and billing you long after your phone is dead.

Posted on: December 28th, 2011 by Anonymous

I had a miserable two years with T-Mobile. The telephone they gave me died. It was very difficult to deal with them. Ultimately I turned to another carrier. T-Mobile gave me no assistance when the phone died and was unusable and insisted on charging me even though I was not using the plan at all. Avoid a contract if you can.

THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!

Posted on: December 21st, 2011 by Nilda Chajon

ALL THEY DO IS LIE! They swore to me that I had no contract with them in their system but then when I told them I was going to cancel service, all of a sudden a contract magically appeared and they expect me to pay $400 in cancellation fees! That's what I got after 5 years of being a very loyal customer even though the phones sucked, the service sucked and the plans were super expensive for no reason

T mo use to be great... now sucks

Posted on: December 19th, 2011 by Anonymous

I use to brag about the great service Tmo use to provide. Now its terrible. They promised an android package with text included. 5 months later still no text messages when I call they say that if I want messages I have to get a text plan. They also Overcharge at every bill. I hate it. I cant wait for my contract to be over.

The Most Terrible Phone Company!

Posted on: December 14th, 2011 by Anonymous

TMobile is the worse because they over charged customers. I was over charged many times and I called the customer service several times, but they promised that it will reflect on my next bill, but they never kept to their promise. Customer service is very poor! They always keep customers on phone for ever!

Never Again.

Posted on: December 10th, 2011 by Anonymous

The worst phone company EVER. No service ANYWHERE, awful phones(that are not even worth the price), by far the worst customer service. Dont let them fool you with the low advertisment prices, because they find other ways to charge you. It is outrageous. But when I singed a contract 3 years ago, they were nice and helpful. I always made payments on time. But when the phone broke, I had insurance on it and I still had to buy a NEW phone (for a decent one its about 400$) and with this economy who in their right mind thinks anyone can pay for that? I definately would not reccomend Tmobile.
