T-mobile is a jerk and mean-spirited and has worst customer service

I have had T-mobile now for while (6 years). So far, they have been good except that I have not had to deal with them all these times. I have had two encounters with them over the past four months and it has been horrible. In August 2011, they had a deal that was Unlimited Talk + Text+ Data (up to 2GB high speed) for $59.99/month. And this deal was valid for T-mobile customers whose contracts are up. This was a way for them to lock you up for another 2 years with them. Fine, I fell for the bait. I heard about the deal, called customer service to find out about the deal, and was told that the deal was still going on. I went on to get on board with the plan. I was so excited that I got 2GB of data and unlimited everything for $60. Who wouldn't be? I signed on my account the next day and found out that I was signed up for the classic plan of only 200MB. Gosh, I was so furious and I called them to ask why the mistake since I wanted 2GB. They said that it cannot be changed since I asked for 200MB. Am I stupid not to take the opportunity to get 2GB for so much less? I stayed on the phone for up to 2 hrs telling them that I specifically requested for the new plan. However, these arguments fell on deaf years and the jerky, cold, mean-spirited manager wouldn't change my plan. He said that I would have to pay $200 for a change of plan to get the on the 2GB plan. They didn't listen to me. I was so traumatized that I didn't want to watch, hear, and see anything that had T-mobile on it. Now (in February), I went to upgrade my phone at a T-mobile store. By the time I logged into my account to see my plan, I saw they had upgraded me to 2GB without my consent. At the moment, my data usage was about 140MB. I called immediately to downgrade back to my 200MB and the person said that he will do it. Four days later, I logged back to my account and saw that the change has not been implemented. I called immediately only for the representative to pretty much tell me that I would have to pay for for the excess of 34MB which I have used over 200MB, and if he has to downgrade me, I will need to go back to the store and make them acknowledge that I didn't ask for the upgrade. Who does that? Pretty much, he could have changed it but he doesn't believe me and he needed proof. Is this customer service? I hate that I am having the bad feeling that I had in August. T-mobile doesn't acknowledge their mistakes, are jerks and mean, and your complaints fall on deaf ears!!! They frustrate you so you can end your pursuit. I cannot believe that I am stuck with them for another 2-yrs. I probably will prefer to break my contract and go for carriers such as Boost Mobile. Shame on you, T-mobile! Shame on you! I have so much anger and animosity towards you. Anyways, you are a big company and it is not like you care what little people like me thinks! Not fair...

T-mobile is the worst!

I had T-mobile for 15 years, more recently with Blackberry. Service and pricing became very bad during the last 2 years; customer service was very unfriendly. What pissed me off is that they refused to help me backing up my address book and unlocking my phone once I switched from Tmobile to ATT (and iPhone). I think this is so unfriendly and possibly illegal that I am refusing to pay the last month with them. ATT has infinitely better coverage and the iPhone is so infinitely better than any Blackberry!

T-Mobile should stop doing business

They hate their customers!!, I think spending time to write a big review on t-mobile itself is waste. This company has no value at all. please be aware of these thieves.

Tmobile worst phone company

It was one of worst mistake when i sign up for 2 year plan with T-Mobile. i got blackberry curve for second line. and data doesn't work at most of time, so when i called to customer service. basically they understand that they provide me with bad phone, but because of contract i still have to pay for no data, no phone calls and no texting. They told me i have to wait when my contract is over. When i asked them to disconnect the line. they told me i have to pay ridiculous price for disconnection, for something didn't work in first place. then when i asked them to disconnect the data, because doesn't work any way, and why i should pay for something that doesn't work. they told me i have to deal with it. they are punishing me for disconnection but who will punished them for not providing the service they promised me?

Worst Ever

I recently combined plans with my boyfriend. after 3 trips to a store & 5 calls to customer service my boyfriend was now responsible for both our bills, not one combined plan. my remaining portion was sent directly to collections. after being on hold for over a half hour I was told a supervisor would call me back. I never got a call. When I called today, they had to ask for another number to call me back because (get this) MY TMOBILE PHONE DIDNT GET SERVICE TO TMOBILE. I had full service where I was sitting. I will be reporting this company to the FCC and the Dept of Commerce. I would suggest anyone with a similar experience do the same.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING THE RUNAROUND FROM CUSTOMER CARE AND TECH SUPPORT FOR 3 MONTHS. I HAVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER AND MY CONTRACT IS UP. EAT MY DUST T-MOBILE. THIS COMPANY HAS GONE AS FAR AS SHUTTING MY CELL PHONE OFF TO STOP ME FROM CALLING TECH SUPPORT. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN HEP IT YOU WILL BE SORRY. HOPE THIS SAVES SOMEONE ELSE THE HEADACHE I HAVE GONE THROUGH. WISH I HAD SEEN THIS PAGE BEFORE I SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T-Mobile you make me sick

T-Mobile you make me SICK..I have been a loyal T-Mobile customer for over 5 years. My husband got a new job and we needed to move and the area we are moving to have 0 T-Mobile service. So we called T-Mobile and were told my 4 different T-Mobile representatives that they would cancel our contract and wave the cancellation fee because they don't have service. So sfter being told my 4 different T-Mobile employees that since we are moving to an area that doesn't have service they would wave the cancellation fee you are now telling me that all 4 of those employees were wrong and there is nothing you can do about the $400 cancellation fee. I AM PISSED.. It makes me SICK that your employees are 1. not trained and giving false information to customers or 2. they are lying and just saying what the customer wants to hear. Don't ever use T-Mobile!!!!!!!!!! The only reason I rated it 1 is because I couldn't do 0

stay away from t-mobile!!!

t-mobile sucks. there are the dropped calls, the crappy data usage in which i ordered more data and now i'm paying an arm a leg and a foot for and still is sorry. once again i say please i'm begging you stay away from t-mobile!!!

TMOBILE IS AWFUL

I cannot begin to describe how much I personally detest this company. They are difficult, impersonal, unprofessional, and not to mention the representatives can't understand English. I was with Verizon with 10 years before I switched, and I would much rather pay the higher price for a phone company that could actually do something right. I would not recommend TMobile to my worst enemy.
