Poor Software Update

Posted on: July 10th, 2012 by William Gphotons

T-Mobile prompted me to update my Samsung Exhibit II 4G phone whenever I turned on the phone. When I agreed to update and press the Next button, the phone was frozen for more than 30 minutes. I called the customer support which offered no help but asked me to send in the phone for an exchange on my expense. This is the kind of cost customers do not anticipate when you worked with company offering poor qualify of product and service - both inconvenience and money. I am not referring to the Samsung phone itself nor the Android operating system but the add-on software created by T-Mobile pushed to smart phones sold under their plans.

Got ripped off by T-Mobile - wish I could rate it a zero

Posted on: July 8th, 2012 by Anonymous

Stay away from T-Mobile. They ripped me off, luckily for only a little over $100 but still. Since I only need to use a phone 2-3 times a month but sometimes for remote work training that can last 8 hours, I thought their $2/day plan would be perfect and save me lots of money over my current $102/month Verizon plan. Guess what? No service where I live even though they assured me their is. After spending a long time on the phone with customer service they agreed to replace my phone since it must be defective according to them - but I had to pay the shipping. Just tried the new phone and still no service. They will not refund my $, even the $50 deposit I put to pay for future use days. I give up and am never using T-Mobile again. Ever. For life.

horrible customer service and phone selection

Posted on: June 22nd, 2012 by Anne Gray

T Mobile's ONLY benefit used to be that they were less expensive than other companies in the Sacramento area. Between their poor service, constant annoying advertising texts, and poor selection of smart phones, they are HORRIBLE

After cancelling, TMobile doesn't send a bill by email anymore because your account is closed.

Posted on: June 7th, 2012 by Anonymous

I called T-Mobile because they sent me a late notice. I have never been late in 10+ years with this company. I was told that when I cancelled my account, I could no longer get emails from them. I asked how was I to get my bill since it didn't come by regular mail either and was told to go into a TMobile store. Just ridiculous. I can't access my account to get my bill, they can only send it through the mail, and I am being threatened collections activity on a bill I haven't even received yet.. Ludricous!! What a racket, now they will probably squeeze an extra $5. out of me for a late charge (I don't know that because I don't have the bill to look at). The agent wanted me to pay right then after she answered, and I kept asking where was the bill and could it be emailed or faxed to me so that I could act on it and was told to wait 10 days. On top of that I cancelled on the 5th of the month and was told it was in between cycles so would have to pay another whole month even though I wasn't using it. Did I mention I don't have a contract with them. Such low business practices.

I hate T-Moble

Posted on: June 5th, 2012 by Brittney Weir

I do not like t-mobile and I have tons of problems with them. I was hung up on by a supervisor, while setting up a new plan, I was told I was on a plan for 105.00 a month and they put me on a plan for 236.00 a month. I was told I had unlimited Data, but was charged 30 extra dollars for going over. I complained to a supervisor and he ended up hangin up on me. Horrible customer service, they don't stick to their words and screw you over!! If you have to option, go somewhere else!!

Avoid T-Mobile

Posted on: June 5th, 2012 by Mark Woodward

Upgraded 2 of 5 phones - they extended all 5 lines for 2 years. Disputed the extension - spending multiple hours on the phone and email and 2 months later still paying for a line I am not using. Managers will not get on the phone on any dispute and the reps are given no power. The mediocre cell reception and the inabilty to get any resolution on any complaint has forced me to look elsewhere for service.

Customer Service is Terrible - they need more training and more help

Posted on: June 3rd, 2012 by Kristin Pedersen

The on-line account service many times doesn't work. The agents usually are not knowledgable enough to correct problems--usually I call 4 to 5 times before someone has the knowledge to correct the problem. The phone prompts are so bad that one can scarcely get through to a representative--often I am hung up on while I am making selections from the interactive menu. It is as if TMobile does not want to talk to the customers, and so makes it nearly impossible.
