Horrible company to deal with.

Posted on: August 25th, 2012 by Summer Bara

I switched from Sprint because they changed my plan without my consent and ripped me off when it came time for a new phone. T-mobile advised I had a higher credit limit then I actually had so when my phone started to have issues I went to get a new one and upgrade since I was told I could without a time frame. I was then told I had to pay $400 for the new phone when I was supposed to pay $200 plus $20 a month. Ended up adding a 2nd line just to get a new phone, had a friend use that line, I was told I could change out the phone, but come to find out AGAIN it had to be the same phone if it didnt work THEN I could get a different phone, well of course that didnt work and call back ONLY TO BE TOLD NOPE YOU HAVE TO GET THE SAME PHONE. Seriously, you are told whatever you want to hear then get screwed in the end. I am now dealing with my sisters phone bill, online has one amount they are telling me something different. Saying there is a fee when it was to be waived but of course its not noted. This company is a scam and a bunch of liars. WILL BE SWITCHING EVERYONE TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!

Customer Service for Prepaid is TERRIBLE!

Posted on: August 24th, 2012 by Anonymous

I bought my first smart phone a few months ago with the $30 prepaid plan that includes unlimited 4G internet, unlimited text, and 100 min of talk time per month. My phone does so many things for me, it's amazing! And the plan for the phone is a great deal too. Sadly, my love affair has soured recently. I was paying my bill using bill pay from Bank of America. The Bank of America service and support was great. I had another payment sent to T-Mobile. But this month T-Mobile has decided to lose the payment and turn off my service for lack of payment. What's really going on is that T-Mobile is strong-arming customers into using their new auto-pay service. Guess what, I don't want to give you my credit card number. I can pay on-time without that. I've spent several hours over the past two days with no service while getting the run around being bounced back and forth between the different departments at T-Mobile. When I couldn't take it anymore, I went into the store and talk to an employee. He tried to work things out for me, but he was also bounced around with no resolution. At this point I'm not sure what will happen to my payment. I think there's a good chance T-Mobile will end up stealing it. I've looked for contact information that goes outside of the call center run around but can't find it. I've also looked for some kind of comment/suggestion/feedback forum but can't find that either. That's a bad sign from a company whose business is providing service. I want to like T-Mobile, but their business practices make it hard to.

Horrible Customer Service

Posted on: August 17th, 2012 by Hilary Wilson

This is without a doubt the worst cell phone company to deal with. My 75 year old mother's (who lived alone) phone was broken and they wouldn't help replace it quickly. Then she became physically unable to use the phone and I had to cancel. They gave me incorrect information about how to cancel the phone and by suspending it actually EXTENDED the contract! They actually dropped my line while I was talking to them and didn't call me back even when I complained an asked them to take my number incase we were disconnected again. When I tried to summarize the cancellation after 2 months of trying to do this efficiently, Patrick was rude and cut me off to read his screen to me instead. I think they talk in circles to cover their butts when they don't really know what they are talking about. I will NEVER use them again or recommend them.

Disappointed ... leaving T-mobile after ten yrs

Posted on: August 15th, 2012 by Megan Cassidy

I have been a customer of T-mobile for over ten yrs. as of the last 1 1/2 I have had numerous issues with my phone - dropped called, texts not sending, touch screen not working, phone speaker going out, ect . . . I have paid my phone warranty for several yrs - just to be safe. long story short i have exchanged my phone 4 times and continue to have had on going phone issues and ABSOLUTELY NO ONE can or is willing to do anything to resolve the issues. yet they continue to thank me for being a loyal customer. When my contract is up next year i will not be renewing it. personally, i would be happy with the smallest of gestures.after several calls to customer service and stops at the store i did talk to one customer service rep who offered to send me a different phone - i thought great, finally! come to find out it was a phone that was know to have more issues than my current phone and i was signing on for another 2 yrs. The agent neglect to inform me of either of these issues. I also seem to have the worst service compared to friends with other providers. I have stuck it out but Im done after my recent experience. the only redeeming piece is a few nice people at the stores. However, I have encountered store managers who make me feel as though it is my fault and my problem. AT&T is my next stop. Tmobile it cheap but it comes at a price.

Don't Believe A Word They Say!

Posted on: August 14th, 2012 by Susan Bowler

I wanted to upgrade my iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy II so I went to the store after seeing an advertised $50 rebate for the switch and $200 rebate for my iPhone 8g. I made this switch in late April 2012. After fighting tooth and nail for my $50 rebate I finally got it credited to my account... whew... but as for my iPhone that I was to mail to some unknow location... I have still never received my rebate for that. So, basically, my iPhone was stolen from me. BE WARNED !!!!! BE WARNED !!! BE WARNED !!! Do no use T-Mobile! They will tell you ANYTHING to get you to buy their product and service but it's all lies to hook you. They don't keep up their part of the bargain unless you threaten them and even then, in the case of my missing iPhone never hear from them again. In all fairness my sales rep at the store tried to help me but even he can not get my iPhone situation rectified for me. So just avoid the trouble and use another carrier. I'm sure ANY other service provider would be better then T-Mobile. I bet they go out of business soon and I hope that they do.

T mobile is terrible

Posted on: August 10th, 2012 by Anonymous

I was with tmobile for 9 years and they are going down the tube. The service was ok in the beginning. But in the past 2 years has been terrible. Not only is the CS terrible, but the service area is not great. They were contstantly trying to charge more fees. When I left them not only did I have a $200 fee (which I knew about) but an additional $40 in taxes that they did not tell me anything about for less than 2 weeks of service. Avoid doing business with them.
