Sales Reps Misrepresented the Plan-STAY AWAY!!!!

Posted on: February 11th, 2013 by Kathy Ayers McCreery

Left Verizon because sales rep promised the world...better plan at a lower rate. Phone is a piece of garbage, service is worse still. No service from my workplace, my daughter can't call from her home. When the first bill came, there were $20.00 worth charges for the 3rd line that we were never informed would be applied. NEVER GOT OUR $300.00 REBATE AS PROMISED. IN FACT, THEY TURNED US OVER TO A CREDIT BUREAU. The sales rep did not properly process the initial paperwork and a company who indicated they were not associated with T-Mobile billed us another $1200.00. In all, it will be costing my family well over $2,000 to sign up with this company WHICH OFFERS POOR PHONE SERVICE, HAS SALES REPS WHO MISREPRESENT THE CONTRACT, HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ASSIST WITH PROBLEMS. Too bad that I don't have the money to hire an attorney to sue. Will report to the Better Business Bureau and post on every review page on the WEB.

T-Mobile

Posted on: February 10th, 2013 by Anonymous

I have read many of these reviews and i am not understanding why, if T-Mobile is so horrible and so bad, they stayed for 2-7 years. I waswith Sprintfor 8 years because they were great. When their CS changed Imoved to AT&T. I have been with ATT&T for 5 years and now their CS has changed (outsourced) and my bill has just increased and increased. So I have made arrangements to switch to T-Mobile. I always buy my phones outright so I am going for the $119.00/mo Family Plan with Unlimited voice, text, data for 2 lines. They actually recommendedI do a Pay-As-You-Go first. Cannot find a thing wrong with that. I get 2 SIMs sent for $2.18, keep my current numbers, and all other fees waived. The unlimited voice, text, data plan is 50% of what I have been paying at AT&T and it cuts my bill in half. Really, not sure why anyone would stay with a company for so many years and then give them such poor ratings. ODD !!!!!!!!!!

They try to hold you hostage when you want to leave!

Posted on: February 10th, 2013 by Anonymous

We have been T-Mobile customers for 4 years, and made the mistake of having my employer discount applied to the account last year, which renewed the contract for 2 years. We saved about $180 over the last 10 months with the 12% discount, and now that we want out they $200/line plus taxes! They are not competitive in the market place, the only carrier that does not offer the I-phone, although when you question them about that they will tell that it is coming, not sure when, but it is coming. Save yourself the aggrevation, and pay more for monthly service with one of the other big carriers.

Poor coverage and customer service

Posted on: February 8th, 2013 by Anonymous

We cancelled our service because we could not get service in our home (metropolian Detroit). Called to ask how much it would cost to cancel our contract and were told $200. Received final bill charging $400 ($200/line). We challenged this and were told to put it in writing and they would review the recording of the call in question. They never got back to us and sent a bill for $200 that I withheld from my final payment. When I called their service department I was told that all calls are not recorded and that I still owed them $200. I will pay it but will never use T-Mobile again and have to say I'm very happy with AT&T.

T-Mobile is a scammer

Posted on: February 6th, 2013 by Slim Salmoun

I wanted to Join T-Mobile and thank God it did not happened, I called on 05 FEB 2013 to ask for specific plan and feature, after credit check, the sales person David could not process the order. They sent an email to call back , when I called I was as if I am talking to aliens, they have no clues of what I want and they asked if I can restart the order again, which I did and after the process the sales person could not process it because some issues with their system. I called the following morning and same issue too. I talked to someone else by the name of Alberto and he promised a discount or sort of a compensation which was a lie right after he transfered me to another agent who denied that he is aware of any of that and I will get only what I have asked for: plan, and sim cards. I end up calling the corporate office on 06 FEB 2013 and their clercks in WA office were the worse ever, what a corporate reps and what a service !!!! My advise to those folks who doesn't know T-Mobile well, is stay away from this company, they are the worse ever, shop somewhere else.

A Nightmare to Deal With.

Posted on: February 5th, 2013 by Anonymous

I will never have any dealings with this company ever again. I used T-Mobile services for a year and a half. I bought a cellular device and paid by the month for their service for a whole year. I made the mistake of signing a two year contract after that. I moved to a new residence shortly after signing the contract and didn't have any service at my new house! I had to go up the road for any kind of service! I called to notify T-Mobile about this issue to see if they could do anything about it and they didn't say much of anyting about my issue. They just brushed me off. So I got fed up and called to cancel my service with them. They charged me with all these fees along with the cancelation fee. I tried to talk to several different managers about these fees and how unfair it was for me to pay these fees when I didn't even acquire a new cell phone upon signing up for the contract!!!! Half the time I called, I couldn't get in touch with anyone that could do anything about it. Worst customer service. This company is definintly a company that doesn't seem to care about it's customers. Not only was the customer service lousy, the phone service was too. I would constantly have dropped calls and low service coverage. I will NEVER do any kind of business with them again.

Horrible

Posted on: February 4th, 2013 by tracy lyon

Worse phone service, worse customer service. We had T Mobile for 2yrs with no problems, then we made the mistake of renewing. We have three galaxy 3 we barely get internet on any of them anywhere. I can't get service at my work nor can my husband. I switched sim cards, restart all the crap they tell you to do nothing works. We are paying for internet on three phones that we basically can never use. We have spend over 10 hrs on the phone with their customer service, which is horrible. If you talk to two different people you'll get two different answer. No one there knows what they are doing. We filed a complaint with the BBB and I'm going to file one with the FCC. I've been on the phone with corporate several times, it has gotten us no where. They don't care that we are paying for services we can't use. I want out of the contract without early termination fees and they won't do it. From the start they told us our bill would be $169/month before taxes that was wrong the guy did something wrong, that was the contract I excepted but because you go to the automated system to except there is nothing I can do about it. we had corporate pull the tapes and they said he left out the insurance. I think the contract should be voided there but again no. I am going on every site I can find to write about how horrible t mobile is. I could go on with more of what a horrible company they are but I think this is enough for know. PLEASE! do not go with this company. At my work and my husband's work people with other carriers have no problem connecting to the internet, while our phone spins the word loading forever theirs comes right up. Save yourselves time and aggravation they are horrible is all services.

A SCAM

Posted on: January 31st, 2013 by Devon Haggitt

We switched from Verizon to T-Mobile thinking it would save us money, well, it wasn't worth the hassle. After 2 weeks we determined that the signal in our area was too poor for the service to be worthwhile so we sent our phones back within the trial period, following all their instructions. They gave us a refund for the phones, but then sent us a bill for $1000 for terminating our service. now we keep getting collection calls on a bill we don't owe. Needless to say we will never give them another penny of our money!

THE WORST.

Posted on: January 29th, 2013 by Anonymous

I received a phone that did not work and was told I could get an exchange for $20. That?s pretty tricky business- sell a customer a product or service that?s faulty, then charge them to fix it! Does that make sense? They are CROOKS!!! I have been with T-Mobile for over 8 years. When I first started my service, they were fine. Now they are the worst company I have ever heard of and am confused how they have not been sued. They have the WORST customer service! The WORST! I have been placed on hold for 58 minutes and 53 seconds (I timed it) only to be hung up on! I was told my plan has unlimited data but while traveling my data stopped and a message informed me I would be charged if I continued to use it. I called T-Mobile to figure this out. When I finally reached someone, I was told my data is unlimited in my ?network? range, being told as long as I use that feature of my phone (that I PAY EXTRA FOR) at home, my data is indeed unlimited. WHY ON EARTH would I need unlimited data where I live? I don?t need to look up maps or get directions to the nearest gas station IN MY HOMETOWN! And if I did I certainly would be able to use my laptop. If you are reading this, I beg you, for your sanity go with another carrier. Let my misery help somebody. These are only a few examples of how utterly horrible this company is. I could write a novel. But unless you have dealt with T-Mobile, it would seem like fiction.

Awful coverage, and extort money from customers when they leave

Posted on: January 25th, 2013 by Jillian M Reed

Company claimed that account that was canceled was not canceled, so they could claim extra money owed. Said Bank would not honor credit card, so late charge accrued. Bank states restriction of card never happened. After being a good customer for years, customer service would not consider possibility of their errors. The whole financial ruse is to extort customers who are going to another vender.
