horrible

Posted on: September 25th, 2012 by Anonymous

Have been a sprint user for 6 years. FINALLY, switched over to Verizon. They would not return my overpaid amount on my bill. My service ended 16 days before the bill cycle did, so essentially I am paying for a service that I am not receiving. They have HORRIBLE customer service, be prepared to wait on the phone for at least 1 hour. Customer service is so rude. If you get constant dropped calls, be prepared for them to tell you since your calls are 90% successful they are not offering any refunds. I honestly can go on and on.

Canceled my account and was still billed

Posted on: September 25th, 2012 by Blake Lundstrom

I canceled my account and Sprint continued to bill me for 3 months. I was traveling so I wanted to use a diferent phone until I was settled again. Since I was traveling I didn't know they were still billing me. I talked to customer service and they agreed that 1. I had canceled my service through their logs, 2. There was no phone assigned to my account for 3 months, and 3. there had been no activity. Bottom line I just paid them $274 to avoid it impacting my credit. After I was done traveling I was planning on going back to sprint; now I'll never use or recomend sprint again.

Limited Plan Options

Posted on: September 3rd, 2012 by Waleed Ebrahim

Comparing to T-mobile and other providers, I have spent one whole hour of my time today on the phone with three different associates and all they kept saying is that they got a better 4G service that does not drop and better coverage. I have been with them for 6 years and sorry but it is an older service (CDMA) with more restrictions when it comes to upgrading to a Smartphone and to top it off more expensive than T-mobile value plans. I was disappointed of how unequipped they were and how easy they gave up. To lose a customer with a perfect payment history (direct deposit) for 6 years, I think is a lack of training or just pure greed. So in conclusion, the only solution to this monopoly is to change providers and that is what I am about to do. I will have an equal price plane with no data but a very powerful Smartphone (used and fully paid for) that I can even use with my home WIFI, the open hotspots worldwide, and/or GSM worldwide providers. Information is empowering, pass it on.

Sending a letter via snail mail is faster!!

Posted on: September 1st, 2012 by Denise Fredericksen

Every time I turn around, Sprint's tower is down and I have no service. I have service through Sprint for personal use and AT&T for work and AT&T always has 4 or more bars, yet Sprint has 1 bar. Driving from Texas to Montana, I lost service completely with Sprint outside of Texas, yet AT&T held strong. If you have Sprint, try and send a text message today (per Sprint another tower down) and if you are lucky, it will be received some time today or tomorrow. It would be faster to send a letter via snail mail!

Im huge on customer service since I own my business I rely on it. Sprint does NOT care at all. There call centers are located overseas. So there is deff a communication barrier..

Sprint Customer Service Sucks

Posted on: August 29th, 2012 by Corey Phipps

I have been a long time sprint customer for over 12 years, I was told my data plan for my hotspot would be unlimited, and it was for about 9 months, now without any notice they changed it to 5 GB. They would not cancel the line unless I wanted to pay a $300 fee to cancel. They allow their employees to lie to get the sale and they will not being around for long. Me and my business and friends totaling 50 lines will be leaving sprint as soon as the contract is up.

4G LTE in Houston? Nope. 3G in Houston? Barely.

Posted on: August 23rd, 2012 by Anonymous

I have been a long time customer of Sprint due to the unlimited data and 25% discount I have on the plans. I was extreemly excited the day LTE was enabled in Houston as I was expecting my EVO 4G LTE to fly. I'd had an EVO 4G from the first day they were released all the way up to this model. WiMax was alright, not awesome, but usually could get a signal and stay off the 3G. Now, I can't get consistent 3G - in the middle of downtown Houston - and when on it, watch it bounce to 1x frequently. Seeing and holding a LTE signal is rare at best. Yes my phone has been checked and updated. It's just a signal issue in the most traveled areas of Houston. Sprints bandwidth and quality has severly degraded. Go with providers that are ensuring their signal covers an area and gets further than two feet into a building.

Worst service ever- they are crooks!

Posted on: August 14th, 2012 by Kathleen Mathews

We cancelled our sprint line at the end of April and were told we had to return the iphone that we had gotten with the phone line. We returned it that day and received a written receipt from the Sprint employee. Even though we had no reception at our home and therefore should not have been charged a cancellation fee they charged us $350. Since we also returned the phone we were supposed to receive a credit but three months later they are claiming that the phone was never received at the warehouse despite the tracking number from UPS being provided! A sprint customer service rep told me that the phones had been received and promised to credit the full amount. One week later no credit had appeared and when i called back customer service the told me that the rep i had previously talked to had not been authorized to issue the credit and was overridden (no one thought to tell me). After talking to several reps, (some of them just transferred me and a couple even hung up on me), i have gotten no where and to stop it from going to collections i am just going to give up and pay the bill. I have learned my mistake and will tell everyone that theis are the worst possible people. Never ever get a sprint phone unless you plan on keeping thes service until you die.
