penalty for chat rep error

Posted on: December 30th, 2012 by Anonymous

I did a chat with Sprint rep. He was in my account and I asked what was the last day I was paid up for - Dec 21. I ported out to new carrier on Dec 20. I got a bill for monthly charge plus $2 late penalty. I talked to Sprint rep then senior rep. Sprint was not responsible for chat rep error. The full amount was due and I was on a billing that allowed me to use service before payment was due. I have never missed a payment in about 7 years or been late. NOTICE to all - keep the chat text. The Senior rep had no access to the text. NOTICE to all - don't trust the chat people because they are NOT responsible for what they say. I paid the bill plus penalty. I am done with them after 7 years.

Robbed my money fraudently

Posted on: December 28th, 2012 by Anonymous

I had never thought not even in my dreams that a big wireless company like sprint wud cheat n rob my money.Few months bak i had bought iphone 5 n added a new line for tht. At the sprint store I asked the sprint emloyee if it was ok to to switch the phones between my both lines they said it was ok n so i did it. after few days I found out 4g lte speed of sprint was so painfully slow, it was slower than 3g. So i transferred to AT&T. But before doing tht I called sprint n made sure it was ok to transfer to another company n sprint employee said it was ok. I even returned bak new iphone 5 to sprint. But after few weeks i got the bill they had charged me for early termination, had not returned my money tht i paid for iphone5 after the discount and they said tht my another phone was in contract with them for two more years. I called them many times n asked them how can my line be in contract when I hav already returned the phone??? n how can they charge me for early termination fees when I did termination only after consulting sprint. This is straight fraud n all sprint wanted to do was rob my money n put me in the 2 years deep well contract by cheating and fraudently. I am tired talking to sprint people n had never seen any company with so bad n inhuman customer service in my life. PPl stay away frm sprint n dont ever sign two years contract with them. Their internet service is slower than tortoise so $80 unlimited internet is so painfully slow.

Sprint has the worst customer serice ever!!!

Posted on: December 26th, 2012 by C-Y Zhane

I had very bad experience with Sprint wireless recently. Its customer service is the worst. I purchased their family plan from them before this Thanksgiving with two iphone 5. I got the phones on November 20 when I got off from work. I turned them on after battery charging. After a few tests, I found they did not have 4G service as they claimed. The 3G was also very slow. (I do not live in rural area, BTW). What was unacceptable was that I found the regular phone reception was weak as well. Everyone I called complained bad reception. Then, I decided to return the phones. I went to a Sprint local store at the black Friday morning. I knew I needed to do it quickly because the Sprint policy said the activation fee could be waived if the phones were returned in 3 days. There was a short queue (6-7 people before me) in the store. But, it still held me for straight 2 hours until a service guy told me he could not handle the return and I had to go to an incorporate store. I was able to manage the frustration anyway. After lunch, I went the incorporate store and returned the phones. I spent almost the whole black Friday for the returning. You can image ? But, I thought I made it. However, it was not even the worst. The worse was coming. I waited until the first billing statement was out (>$200). I called them for the adjustment. They told me they needed time to recalculate the billing and would be ready on December 21. Until December 23, I found the new charge was about $81. I thought it was too much for only 3-day use. It must have included the $35 activation fee. I called the Sprint customer service. I told a representative I returned the phones in three days and the activation fee should be waived. Then, after a long time holding on the phone, she told me the phones were activated on November 19. Therefore, I was not eligible for the fee waive. I told her November 19 was the shipping date. I hadn?t got the phones yet. I received the phones on November 20, started using around 6-7PM and returned them on the afternoon of November 23. She transferred me to her manager. I told my reason again. He claimed he had been clear about the situation. Then he put me on hold for a long time and then hung up. He was really rude and arrogant. The customer service was really awful. They will never have my business again. I will not recommend Sprint to anyone.

Sprint does NOT care about their customers!

Posted on: December 21st, 2012 by Rebecca Norris

Sprint discontinued Roadside Assistance without notifying. After calling the number several times, I went online to see what was going on and found out through someone else's blog that they had discontinued. Being stranded with a flat tire without any sort of roadside coverage, I had to p ay $50 out of pocket to Farmers for help. When I called to complain to Sprint to see if there was any way to credit some amount back to my bill to help with this, I spoke to at least different people that basically all told me that it was my own fault for not noticing that I was paying $4 less a month. Ridiculous.

Worst Customer Service ..False Promises and never honour commitment..Rude and arrogant ...

Posted on: December 20th, 2012 by Anonymous

One of the worst experience I am having with sprint.. They promised me to waive off activation and restocking fee if I call them within three days.. For the records I saved the chat also..I ordered the phone online..I got my phone after two days.I activated phone and just in two days I found that there is a software glitch..If you call any one with iphone 5 from sprint and while on call you push the lock button, it disonnects the call. I discussed the issue within three days of time limit and the technical team told me that its a defualt feature. I found it really absurd that how can they call a software glitch as a feature. Anyways , I told them I am not satisfied. hence I want to return the phone. The customer Crae Rep told me that since I bought phone online, she can send me a box and insturctions and I will have to return the phone. Now, by the time I do that, 3 days tiem limit will be passed hence we cannot return the activation fee and will hv to charge restocking fee also. I told her the commitment from chat represtative that I will not have to pay anything if i contact them within three days to which she replied that she will make a note of it on the account and I should go ans show the chat to one of the sprint stores and they will waive off all the fees. Now, I went to a sprint store located at E mockingbird Ln in Dallas and they told me that they can not waive off any fees since system doesn't allow them to do so. So, I had to call back the customer Rep, she connected me to a Manager named Chris. I have never seen such a dumb manager before who says she is 24 years experienced and still has no clue whats the difference between accoutn setup date and phoen activation date. First she faild to understand that I ordered my phone on 7th dec and it was delivered on 10the and I activated it on 11th. She was so dumb that she claimed my acount was setup on 7th hence I should have contacted them on or before 9th which is just stupid. I told her that I got my phone on 10th how could I contact them when I dont have the phone. After about half an hour she realized her mistake Then she started acting arrogant since she did not find any way to reply she said that se can not access the chats even if I provide her with my chat proofs or chat reference number. She says that if if I was promised such a thing it would have been on my account. I told her to check the notes on my account when she checked it, she found that there was a a note that I contacted wihtin three days limit and the fee should eb waived off. Now, she realized her mistake second time that I was right and she was wrong. Still this is th Limit of Arrogance. She says that in the note it does not says that you want to return the phone. it just says that you asked about how to return the phone and we told you to go to a store to return the phone. I said yes, I am here at the store to return the phone. Now you need to waive off the fees. She started acting so Rude and told em that If she wants she can give me a 100$ credit but she will not waive off the fees or give me any credit since its againts their policies. I asked her wahts your policy? Is it your policy to amke false promises and sell the phone and then do not honor your commitments? I asked her whats your policy for the phoen you sell online? if a person who bought the phone online how can he return it withint 3 days? She said it should be returned within three days. I asked her again How? where to return it? she said it has to be returned withint 3 days and she doesn't know how but it is the policy that it should be retuned in 3 days. I was surprised by the rudeness, arrogance stupidity and unprofessionalism of this lady. She was totally shameless that she doesn't know a single thing , she has been worng since we started talkign, she is not aware of the polices still she has no shame. I requested to connect to her manager to which she said her manager Elizabeth will give me a call at my number in 2hours. I had no more stemina to talk to this stone headed lady. I kept waiting for call from manager Elizabeth for 4 hours. I didnt get any call. I called again at customer care number and this time I had to again explain everything to a manager named Teressa. she told em to send her a copy of my chats by fax. I faxed the copies of my chat and was waiting for her call. As usual I did not get the call and sprint sstore was abotu to cloase. I didnot want to waste one more day, Hence I paid the amount fo restocking fee and returned the phone. After about 2 hours I got a call from teressa, I was gald at least someone at Sprint understands. She said she will waive off the activation fee as promised in the chat as she saw chat and I was right that it was promised. I was happy to think all is well that ends well. IF not restockign fee atleast they are waiving off my activation fee which they promised. But to my surprise, i got a voice mail after half an hour from terssa that she talked to her manager and her manager thinks she can not remove the activation fee and it will remian valid. How stupid is that?? I mean really?? is this how you treat you customers?? You are disgusting. I will never ever use sprint again. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT. THEY ARE THIEVES.

Company does not value their customers

Posted on: December 18th, 2012 by Jeff Suth

Phone service is been spotty and inconsistent. Data functions on phones sold by Sprint do not work consistently and are major drain on power. Data plan policies are unrealistic. State that you can have the freedom to change plans without penalty and then want to charge you for early termination of a plan and start over on a 2 year contract for a minor change. The only change requested was a change in corporate discount offered through my employer. I already had a corporate discount through my former employer and my new employer also had a discount program yet Sprint wants to charge me early termination fees on my current contract and make me sign a new contract for 2 years when I only have 3 months left on 2 phones and 9 months on two others. I average $220 a month for 4 phones and this is how they treat me. I also called to try and see if they had a different plan that I could change to because I have 1500 shared minutes between the 4 phones but have consistently used less than 300 total per month. No options provided for a better plan to service my needs. Plus if I did they said I would have to pay early termination and sign another 2 year contract. Here I am paying for stuff I don't use that they are making money on and yet they can't make a small adjustment. Sprint sucks!!!!

Iphone 5 on Sprint = Expensive Ipod Touch

Posted on: December 7th, 2012 by Anonymous

I recently upgraded from a Treo to an Iphone5. Turns out a lot of problems I blamed on the Treo were with Sprint. After the storm, when Sprint was emailing me my bill, I emailed them with concerns. No help. Then the sim card started failing. The nice clerk taught me how to reset the phone and that helped. He said it was from the storm and it did get a little better, but yesterday it dropped 3 calls and several calls did not go through.

IT'S OK FOR THEM TO CHANGE THE CONTRACT ON YOU , BUT NOT YOU.

Posted on: December 3rd, 2012 by Michael Raider

I've been with sprint every month solid now for over 13 years. When I signed into the contract it had unlimited data. Now when I got my upgrade this last time, I did the same as I had done before and just transferred the contract. Yet, this time they added (2) $10.00 data cost increases every month for our 2 phones. A $20.00 increase per month. Duly noted that sprints works very close with law enforcement (govt) where as they can get more information on me than I can get on myself. I'M LEAVING YOU SPRINT

LIARS!!!!!!!!!

Posted on: November 25th, 2012 by Anonymous

If I could give them a 0 I would. Sorry to say, mate, its not just you. I live in Pasadena, and in my first week here I went down to Sprint to ask about their phones. I had found a 24% discount for students from studentrate.com, and was going to purchase the phone though their website. The employee said no worries, buy it today and we'll give you a 25% discount!! Wow, thinks I, they must really want my business, so I go ahead and purchase the phone. Needless to say, the discount did not appear on my first bill. Or my second. So I call and am told 'oh no, we don't even OFFER a 25% discount!!!!' After much frustration and multiple callbacks and being pushed around, someone says 'ok, look, we can give you a 23% discount'. Being relieved to have sorted it out, I agree and we move on. End of my contract roles around. My partner and I are both looking to upgrade, and we are working out whether or not to go on the same plan. He's with AT&T, I'm with Sprint. We go into the Sprint store in Pasadena again (yep, same one), and the employee there (different employee this time), calculates that we can go on the same plan and pay
