dont get sprint

I lost so much money with sprint. They have a new service for international calling where you can use your anytime minutes to call other countries from the US. That is the reason why I switched my service over to them. So I had to wait until I got my phone then I had to call them to set up the service. So when I called they told me I had to go to the Sprint store to set that service up. When I am at the sprint store I had to wait around because the guy there had no idea what he was supposed to do. So he told me to call the international department and only then the guy told me that the service only worked for certain landlines and the other ones was pay by the minute. HELL NOOOO. That was not what they told me first. I should have gotten T-Mobile. after long hours with them on the phone with so many uninformed supervisors and other people who work there I ended up with more than $160 damage. I couldn't believe even the supervisors had no idea what they were talking about. A couple of days later they send me a bill for $375 which I had to call again to resolve the issue. But I had cancelled five days after and you have 14 days. I am very upset and angry at them. they are very dishonest and they only care about the customer when they are making a sale. Save yourself a lot of trouble, and lost time and do not trust what they say. My rating for them is negative infinity for everything I only put 1 because it was the least possible.

Customer service aweful

I called into to sprint to inquire about an upgrade and was out of my service contract. I specifically asked the customer service person if i was out of my contract and if i wanted to leave would i be charged. The person i spoke with said i am out of my contract and i wouldn't be charged. Come to find out i get the bill and it shows for the two months they charaged me $50, the last 4 months of the contract they don't continue to prorate your amount they keep it flat incase you do leave. Because the person i talked to didn't write it in the notes and my phone call was one that wasn't recorded they would not do anything to rectify the issue. Sprint is known in the industry for having incompentent people working there and this just reassured that they do. I rated the customer service a 1 i wish i could rate lower as i don't think N/A provides the amount of value they don't provide.

Worst company on the face of the earth!!

Sprint may actually be the worst company on the face of the earth! Two hours on the phone on behalf of my 95 year old Dad, and they refuse to even try and resolve his problem! Avoid this company!!

Hands Down, Worst Company Ever!

Sprint is the worst carrier ever. We haven't been able to get data in the area around our house for the last several years so we switched back to Verizon. After speaking to numerous representatives in numerous departments, Sprint will not wave the $100 cancellation fee, charged a late fee and is trying to charge for the last month when we cancelled the service. The technical department supervisor has been escalating this situation to the various department heads on my behalf and has gotten nowhere. Sprint will not budge even a penny and they want to be paid for a service they did not provide. I was told that there has been work on the towers and they are aware of the data problem, but since I cancelled my account, there is nothing they can do to reduce the final bill. While my account was active, they would not do anything either. We had some serious issues because of lack of data service (my husband is a disabled Vet and cannot get data when he is out of the house in an area two blocks from us and as a result, he has to use the phone rather than see the information on his apps which keeps him out of the house for longer periods of time and this was hard on him, both physically and emotionally (he is disabled both physically and mentally)) and after telling the story to two different supervisors, they each said, and I quote ?so, do you have any more questions? as if I had just asked a simple question. My situation was not acknowledged in the least. There was another situation we encountered in the beginning of our Sprint years in which we never complained and let it go at the time as things happened, but even bringing up that situation to the supervisors coupled with the problems with the lack of data in my area, made no difference. All they care about is getting their cancellation fee (which we were forced to cancel as I cannot have my husband out of the house longer than necessary) and the final bill amount of which they charged even after we stopped service plus a late fee. In all my years of dealing with companies, Sprint is by far the worst. I told them to just go ahead and put me into collections, as now I won?t pay any part of the final bill whatsoever. It is now my goal to spread the word.

I have been in this bad marriage with Sprint since Nov 2012 and I am counting down the days until my 'Sprint divorce'. I am paying a hundred dollars/month, but my iphone5 NEVER gets a signal. It?s not like I live in BFE - I live in Houston. Secondly, I live NEXT door to a Sprint store and they are bragging about how great their coverage is, yet when I step foot inside the Sprint store my phone has zero signal. Customer Service is absolutely worthless. I have changed phone THREE times, yet the response I get every time is 'oh it must be something wrong with your phone'. I have stood in countless lines and spent countless hours in stores and on the phone trying to get this problem fixed, yet here I am still dealing with this issue. I have asked them to let me out of my contract since they?re obviously seeing from my bill that I am paying for unlimited data, but not using any. Their response- you will have to pay the $350 to break the contract. I have spoken to Sprint supervisors, managers, you name it. They all have the same mean attitude. I give up. Sprint, you win. You will continue to rob me of my hard earned money until Nov 2014. You suck.

Run dont contract with them

Christian 375577291 is a rude bully that shouldnt talk to customers and he was the only native english speaker I could talk to. No 3g or 4g and they could care less once they have you on contract.

Lousy customer service! Sprint store is not Sprint!

Don't buy a phone from a Sprint store, you are not dealing with Sprint. Many are third party stores, and all Sprint is concerned with is their contract. They could care less about the service from that store.

I had a minor issue with my Blackberry and visited the Redmond, Washington, store. There, your rep, Masoud Bagheri, was polite, helpful, to the point, and got the job done. I was pleased. Perhaps you need to turn the many irate customers/complainers on this PhoneDog page over to him. Give the man a bonus or a raise, which ever is greater. . .

Worst company in history!!

Sprint has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They are rude, they are dishonest and they don't follow through with their promises. They also charge your account with internet charges that are not legitimate. No one should every consider ever using Sprint.

Lousy service, Worthless Tech Support

Nextel customer for several years. When sprint took over, signal started dropping and bills started increasing. I was talked into a sprint internet card, (2 yr contract),never rec'd rebate, drops connection often. Customer service makes lots of promises but never follows through. Basically a horrible experience that gets worse with passing time.
