The same week that we got our first look at the OnePlus 8T, the first spec details of the device have leaked out, too.
The OnePlus 8T will reportedly feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As Android Central notes, that's an upgrade over the OnePlus 8's 6.55-inch 90Hz display.
Also said to be included with the OnePlus 8T is a quad rear camera array with a 48MP main cam, 16MP wide angle camera, 5MP macro cam, and a 2MP portrait camera. The OnePlus 8 has a triple rear camera system with 48MP main, 16MP wide, and 2MP macro cams.
Inside the OnePlus 8T, OnePlus has reportedly opted for a Snapdragon 865 Plus with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. Today's leak also notes that the OnePlus 8T will run Android 11 below OnePlus's custom OxygenOS 11 interface.
The OnePlus 8T, codenamed Kebab, is slated to be officially announced either the last week in September or the first week in October.
Overall the OnePlus 8T looks like it could be a solid upgrade over the regular OnePlus 8. While the Snapdragon 865 in the OnePlus 8 is no slouch, the Snapdragon 865 Plus will give the OnePlus 8T a small performance boost. The other big upgrade is the 120Hz display, which will match the OnePlus 8 Pro and give the OnePlus 8T even smoother scrolling than the OnePlus 8.
